"ostblock recordings are a quirky chill out art of space in my favorite part of somester, the northern quarter. they offer vegan breakfast for £ 8.00, which I chose with extra avocado instead of drilling, but forget to swallow the sausage (I can not eat soy), but I knew my man would eat them. a large decaf black americano was a perfect pickup to me and if you want milk, they offer soy and mandelic milk, without a price. I loved the breakfast also without a sausage, everything was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was on place, cook white how to cook safely, the toast was also excellent. I notice that there were two vegan sandwiches in the offer and a large selection of vegan cakes in the cabinet, so I will definitely return."

the vegan breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. Moreover, the service is very nice and upcoming. the price of the vegan option does not differ from the regular.

the best was even better than they made it in a bar recently and DJ sessions worked into the mix. very stuffed and friendly staff. and of course, michael mayer, who plays the Micron preparty on 4th november, will be a bit special.

coffee was lumpy and was given with my vegan breakfast without vegan butter. I asked about something flora or a vegan alternative and it was thrown on my eating. I was given black toast, and when I asked her to replace him, they gave me broth. the breakfast was in order when you look at all. but I will not come back.

best breakfast around the clock while waiting for a nearby meeting and after a 4-hour drive for some I was hungry and looking for an breakfast. I found this place and decided to go and I was not disappointed. a very well cooked well presented stacked breakfast, which was divine! I'll use this place again when in town.

Eastern Bloc don't just do food, they do tasty food! Staff were good. It just after midday on a sunny, warm Thursday and therefore a bit busy. Can't remember how long it too but it wasn't more than 15 minutes (I think) and they brought the fries that we added last minute along with our order without an issue. I had the Avocado with peaches eggs and extra bacon; delicious! There was also a salad which could have done with a bit more dressing but for that worked perfectly with some of the avocado.

Lovely little cafe which offers an assortment of cakes and teas. However the real treasure is upstairs in the record shop that stocks a plethora of electro, dance, soul and reggae music. The staff are incredibly helpful and won't hesitate to hand you records they think you might enjoy to listen to on their top of the range record players. Every music lover must visit. To my amaze I found out that on some Thursdays and Fridays they have in store DJ's playing a range of music. I went to an acid house based event and it was mint!

I remember Eastern bloc from my late teens. Always felt ridiculous in there, as if I wasn’t cool enough to be in the place. The records were intimidatingly obscure, making me feel like a thick-headed Philistine. Anyways; back to the present.... On a gloriously sunny day I took J there for brekkie. I opted for the wrap. Vegan breakfast wrap I think. She had the breakfast. After seeing all the recent reviews I am sorry to have not chosen the apparently fabulous coffee. We had alcoholics beverages. Naughty but nice. Recommend for all. Great portions and a decent choice. Not outstanding, but I thought it was fine.

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
