Very authentic Italian food run by a family. Best risotto I've had! It even has a view of the Colosseum in the background. The family serves the table and are friendly and quick. Lovely find!

This place is so gas. I got Carbonara and Tirimisu and some appetizers and it felt like an angel had just came in my mouth. All the haters in the comments are dumb cunts that don't know **** about good food. Service was great as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you for your time l.

Awesome family owned Italian restaurant. The pizza is delicious pizza. My little one says it's the best bolognaise she has ever eaten. We had an incredible carbonara as well as a delicious mushroom risotto. Being in a somewhat residential neighborhood away from the large monuments means it's authentic and they work hard to make great food.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Rome. I go there every time I am in the city, which is quite frequently. Last summer I was ecstatic walking down the street hoping to see its sign and wondering whether it was able to survive the pandemic. After another amazing meal there (penne gorganzola arugula is my favorite) I looked around and realized the local Romans (who obviously know where to eat) kept it alive during the pandemic. It's places like this I'm glad the tourists don't know about! There are several due colonne in Rome btw and I bet the (few) bad reviews here literally reviewed the wrong place. That's annoying. Check the address.

Came here because it was late at night and we were starving. Even with that, usually anything would taste good, but for some reason, this place didn't cut it. When we arrived around 10pm, there was a tourist family sitting outside, an Italian couple on a date, and an extended Italian family having a large group dinner in the back. They clearer were friends with the owners as they were mingling with them while the rest of the restaurant lacked attention and service. 4.5 stars overall. My wife and I had completed the nighttime Colosseum Tour and were searching for a restaurant late. After being turned away from several places, we peeked into Due Colonne. A couple of customers were finishing up outside, and the inside was set for the next day. For my first evening in Rome I thought I 'd give this place a try. I had the cappriciosa pizza 12€ and daughter had the mushroom risotto 10€. Also had a small carafe of the house wine 5€ because when In Rome... sorry had to do it lol. Service was pleasant and they speak English here, thank goodness because my Italian is not so great. This place deserves a standing ovation! I'm about to make it a temple, it's that good. Super close to the colosseo yet no tourists were here for dinner. It was all locals and a few french couples. We stopped by this little hole in the wall after braving the crowds of the Colosseum and walking back to our flat yesterday afternoon. What a great choice stopping in was. Our waitress was right there with menus, asking what we wanted and helping us with the translation. A table of ten walked in right after us so we quickly ordered a bruschetta to share, pasta carbonara for myself, and Pasta e' fagioli for the lovely K, adding a bottle of water (it was not from the tap) and a bottle of house white wine.
