"The Italian restaurant “Due Angeli” is located in the historic building “Zur Sonne” and is located directly on the Markplatz in Jena, a beautifully restored building inside and outside. Immediately after the entrance we are led to a table which is quite large for four people and is beautifully covered and decorated. The menus promise the most delicious that the Italian cuisine has to offer from appetizer to dessert. A small prosecco is served as a welcome drink by a attentive and friendly staff at the expense of the house. We order the drinks (2 x Pils 0.5 l to 3,90 €, Pinot Grigio 0.2 l to 5,50 € and a water 0.25 l to 2,20 €, which are brought after appropriate waiting period: We study the beautifully designed map from top to bottom and bottom to top. Choice is difficult. Mr LUT decides for a Ribollita as an appetizer (4.90 €), our son chooses the onion soup (4.90 €). The dishes are visually very attractive for evenly oversized dishes – and taste good for the best! As a main dish choose Mr LUT and I Saltimbocca to €15,90, our son chooses a carving toscana to €14,50 and his girlfriend a pizza “braccio di ferro (7,90 € ), which translates as much as “Arm Pressing, Pigeons” – the spinach because of... The Saltimbocca proves to be perfect. However, I cannot see such grilled vegetables – for me it is very beautiful. It tastes good, but in my opinion it is not grilled! The announced rosemary apples I find something too fade, a bit more rosemary would have wished my taste nerves. From my point of view, there are only 4 stars for my court. This alone would not have done a total rating of 5 stars, because it would not be the ladies' room that would not be the touch of an upscale category for a restaurant that tries to give itself the touch of an upscale category with ambience and personal outfit. At least not in the evening of my visit. Only one of two existing ceiling lights works so that the already bad lighting is even more spicy. In addition, toilet paper and the container with the paper towels used are missing. That draws the rating down! 4 stars for the “Due Angeli” in the Haus Zur Sonne, 5 stars would be easy to create!"

A top restaurant, waiters had the right desire for their profession. Very friendly also spontaneously visit no problem.. Children are very welcome here. The menu is good. Also prices. We're coming back

I was there a lot of food, lunch and dinner. The operation is almost always nice, only sometimes it takes something to get to the table in the evening. The food has always cost me so far and the selection is also very big! For the lunch menu there is a star trigger for the 0.1l drink. This is a sip and a joke. If you already have a menu with drinking, you can delete your thirst halfway! The ambience is very beautiful, especially in the summer outside.

I was absolutely surprised how great the restaurant has become empty after so many years! An incredibly pleasant ambience with creatively covered tables! They come in and feel comfortable, not least the kindness of the staff contributes! I was very impressed by the very pleasant but not excessive, good mood and kindness of the young men who served us!
