Double Apple - Carte

Food is good, nice environment however surrounded by a bunch of children. This is the second time me being here and second time I’ve waited one hour for food as I thought the first was a one off. Service is terrible also waited one hour for shisha. Not worth the visit or money!

This place does not serve alcohol. All the drinks are mocktails and there is only 5 to choose from in case you are drawn in by the “fancy cocktails” like I was... Menu is limited too for food, mostly burgers. The venue itself however is nice. They don’t take bookings; had to wait outside for 30 mins to get inside also..

The stone town city contains different styles which were introduced mostly in 19th century where by majority of people came in zanzibar by accident and some of them came by tentionally one of those was Tharia Thopan from India who built old dispensary which contain Swahili, Arab, Europ and Indian styles which still exist today and still used by local people of Zanzibar today and it's a legacy from the past which exists today Voir le carte

Nice shisha place but the price for the food is ridiculous £20+ Service charge for a simple chicken burger and fries with drinks separate. No wonder I couldn't find a menu online, if I knew before I would've definitely avoided this place. If you're coming here for shisha and no food then I'll say is not bad but be prepared to empty your pockets as they only take cash. Definitely won't be coming back again. atleast you will all have a menu and food pics now as I have attached them for everyone.

This is the worst shish cafe avoid at all costs. It appears these cowboys run an illegal operation by only accepting cash to cook the books. Workers were very rude and need customer service training. Food was terrible as I found a hair in my food. Presentation average, price not worth it food is not fresh and not cooked properly. The manager was very rude he was arrogant and I did not like service and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND. This place is a wanna be American diner however it is run ineffectively by ill speaking men who think they are professional Boycott.

This is the first time I 've given a restaurant 1 star. The venue is gorgeous but the positives stop there. We waited 20 minutes to be served and twice as long to receive our food. My lamb burger and chips arrived cold. The strawberry milkshake is £7.50 and tasted cheap and overly sweet, same for the vanilla milkshake they swapped it for. We asked for another chilli dip for our meal and they refused saying they don 't give those out . As we looked around we noticed the shosha didn 't let off much smoke either. I went with family for a dinner to another restaurant nearby but was closed. We decided to go in this restaurant. No price list was on display near the door as it is a requirement: However we went in and ordered the food. The food was OK but over priced for the place this restaurant is located. The waiter was very nice and service was OK. When we wanted to pay the bill , we were told that the card machine is broken and we have to pay in cash and we’re told to go to the cash point to get the cash. This really put our moods off , as why were we not told this before we ordered the food. Neither they put a notice that they accept cash only. I’ve visited Double Apple quite a few times with my sister and we always have nothing but good experiences with this place. The staff are nice and friendly, the food and drinks are amazing and the Shisha is probably the most smoothest Shisha I’ve had (and I’ve been to quite a few Shisha lounges). Yesterday I took some girlfriends there for the first time and yet again we had an amazing experience! They loved the food and drinks, loved the Shisha and even though the service was a little delayed due to shortage of staff yesterday, we really couldn’t fault the service. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than at Double Apple London This venue is actually a shisha/hookah lounge and has a huge selection of flavours available. My husband and I both had a mocktail each. Mine was the pina colada whereas my husband had a mango based one. My one was presented in an actual pineapple this was not just stunning to look at but tasted even better than it looked! I did try my husband's drink but my one was definitely better!
