"Gestern zum ersten Mal zum Grünkohl essen da. Sehr leckeres Grünkohl mit Bratkartoffeln süßen Kartoffeln nach Wahl, rote Beete und Gurken. Das Tellergericht ist super ausreichend. Grünkohl gibt es aber auch all you can eat. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die. Karte war sehr ansprechend."

"The service is very understanding and knows how the Cook works im the kitchen. The pans are used exclusively for gluten-free dishes (nearly everything from the menu is gluten-free) and the gluten-containing naan bread is made in a separate area. Die Bedienung ist sehr verständnisvoll und weiß, wie der Koch in der Küche arbeitet. Die Pfannen werden ausschließlich für glutenfreie Speisen verwendet (fast alles auf der Speisekarte ist glutenfrei) und für das Naan-Brot gibt es in der Küche einen extra Bereich."

"Beyond the great service, price and ambience what is offered to you the food quality is undoubtedly amazing. The pasta consistency is unique as a typical Italian pasta, and it tastes as true Italian one. My only advertence is about the oil, even knowing it is a wonderful particular oil, I believe there is a little bit too much in the food and this gets me quite queasy with it. This is my particular comment about and is only about my taste, I am not an oil person and everyone else that was with me didn't complain about as I did. Overall, it is so far one outta the best places in Flensburg to have an experience in."

It is especially worth mentioning that there are many vegetarian and vegan dishes on the map. everyone really finds something delicious. the environment is very cozy inside and outside. a reservation is recommended, otherwise it could be that they don't get a spot because it is well visited."

"I went there yesterday for lunch while visiting Flensburg. Having beautiful spring weather I was a little hesitant to sit indoors (basement) but upon entering I felt welcomed and settled down for lunch.The restaurant's decor is nothing to write to home about. But the aromas coming from the kitchen smelled right! And we were there to eat.We ordered # 37. Korma Chicken (11,50 €) and #46. Daal Tarka (9,50 €) but since it was lunch time, both dishes cost 7,00 € each. The main courses were served along side a bowl of basmati rice. I just wish salad was included. With two ciders and 2 naans our bill totalled to 24 €.Being from Pakistan and eating home cooked Pakistani food, I was really impressed with their Korma. I have never enjoyed a korma in europe before. But this one tasted really good, it actually tasted of something! Of course the best korma you always get at home. But I will definitely be ordering it again at Shalimar.The daal was just as good. The highlights for us were the chicken korma and the baked naans. They had a bite to them and complimented the curries.The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was quite busy and looking around the guests all seemed to be complimenting their food.One thing I have to add, when you tell them how you want your food to be spiced, they actually listen. We asked ours to be hot and they were spiced hot. The waiter asked if I wanted extra green chillies and before I knew it, they were served along side. Something I wish other restaurants would actually do! Freshly finely chopped ginger (Adrak) gave Shalimar extra points in my book! Will we be returning? YES! - Remember, they don't take credit cards - cash only."
