Don’t try for a romantic meal on a Friday! But.... If you want good food, great service, friendly atmosphere, dancing, and terrible singing then Friday Karaoke night is fantastic

great customer service. friendly staff. fast service. good eating, except that there was not enough salt and also my dish was explained in a wise, it is not and full of curry powder, instead of taste. everything else was in order. overall, good experience!

Well 2 years ago we moved out of Grays and we have so missed you all at Desi! Tonight hubby managed to grab a takeaway on the way back home and as always it was delicious and still hot 35 mins later. Haven’t managed to find anywhere near us that is a patch on Desi. Hopefully see you all soon x

well made to all employees at desi yet again another epic hommagenacht with cher. himself and 8 friends were well supervised from beginning to end. celebrated my best friend birthday with all the efforts of Desi staff! we always come to you young, delicious food, good price and epic atmosphere!

My husband and I enjoyed a well-deserved night out last night at this restaurant. While we typically get Indian takeout from here, dining in was even better. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful evening with delicious food.

The vegetable Masala is amazing and the peshwari naan is perfectly done. The staff are also lovely I don’t know how they put up with us screaming girls on the karaoke ha ha. The vibe and atmosphere is always so much fun And you can bring your own drink. The best Indian in Grays My friend really enjoyed her birthday

the attentive staff. the food was very nice. one of the dishes was served lukewarm. a plate was served in a metal dish so that it retained its heat, the other plate should have been heated before the food was served in it. nan brote are some of the best I cost. a pleasant visit and place where we felt socially distant.

I can't blame this place, I'll go all the months with my friends on a Wednesday. eating is always very good, we're never gonna rush. the staff is very helpful and friendly. last night to the birthday day, the employees were so generous and attentive, they made the evening really very pleasant. many thanks that I really appreciated it. they look forward to returning.

On the day that government extended the tier 4 areas across the country, I collected dinner from Desi only to find that all the 3 employees inside Desi had no protection whatsoever. Not even bad placed mask on the chin as many people use, not a single mask at sight. Every other take away that I have used in the last week had employees with masks as mandatory for every open business. Being a restaurant with a open door on a tier 4 area I expected much more from Desi.
