The staff was very attentive and friendly, we were given an upgrade spontaneously. The breakfast was very good, something for every taste. Freshly squeezed juices, delicious quark dishes, fruit... In the evening you can relax in the pool and sauna. Those were 4 perfect nights and days.

I had the Kaufmannsburger and must say that this burger is one of the best I've ever eaten. The sauces are really very smokey and taste-intensive. Patty is also very good. All sauces etc. seem self-made. Together with the salad and the sweet potatoes, it is a harmonious meal. In any case, this restaurant is recommended for the slightly upscale budget. It is recommended to make a reservation for the very nice terrace that has a super view!

We stayed at Hotel Kieler Kaufmann and decided to visit the Hotel Restaurant. We both chose the Black Angus Burger. The meat was very good (medium raw), as was the sauce, with value being placed on supplementing the meat flavor and not overlaid. All the ingredients used tasted very fresh. The pommes were crisp outside, juicy inside and very well seasoned. That's what Pommes should taste! A bread basket with delicious pumpkin relish was also served in advance. The cheese cake has also tasted wonderfully. A very nice evening with good service and great ambience. Very recommended!

Always the first address for an overnight stay in Kiel. The staff's friendliness deserves a particularly positive mention here. The tasty food and drinks pamper the guest all around. Update September 14, 2024 I spent one night in a superior room. The bathroom was a little too small for me (1.93m) as the larger rooms were already fully booked. Everything else as usual, a wonderful address for a stay in Kiel. Breakfast was again a great experience, all the dishes were excellent including the cappuccino.
