My friends and I stopped into The Bear and Staff on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 for lunch.

An American, I lived in London for three years from 1990-1992, and frequented The Bear and Staff three or four nights a week.

it was pre-theater meal at 17.45 clock. the order went well and the food was delivered quickly and we had a lot of time to go to the theater. a very good reconciliation, so will go again

The atmosphere was great for meeting and conversation with a friend, accompanied by a delicious meal ,as it was very quiet due to so few customers but we felt sorry for the restaurant during this pandemic.

After we had a nice meal in this restaurant last month, we booked it again. I could not have been more disappointed, the pasta was stoggey and the sauce was not existent, but the personal was as pleasant as before.

The restaurant was very nice and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, however, the starters and mocktails were extremely overpriced. Would go again, however would not order starters and just have tap water.

great eating and attentive staff. however, we were packed like sardines, the ssselrests touch the shackle back on the table back, without open windows. stuffy and tight. Of course we could have gone, but I was overpaid by the rest of our party, so spent the entire meal concerned about catching covid. they should at least take some tables out.

We booked lunch for 6 of us, for pre theatre meal. We were shown to our table on arrival, which was at the back of the restaurant, where beer barrels and pizza boxes were stored. We were there about 5 minutes and a delivery arrived, sp for the next 15 minutes the door was opened and closed while the delivery driver unloaded. Our main courtesies arrived and 2 of the 6 dishes were cold. We were told they would be cooked again fresh snd take 3 minutes. The rest of the party had finished their main courses by the time the dishes were replaced. Ambience if sitting in a cold store room and cold food made for a very disappointing visit. .
