"Unfortunately not great, table of 4 for dinner on Sunday at 1930. Football on for Euros so good atmosphere, service was good but food let it down. Two had Bruschetta which was lovely, I had parfait which was just a slice of pate. No issue with pate but needs reworded on menu. Chicken tempura starter was good but huge, enough to be a main course, could have done with another dip maybe? Two had half pizza half pasta, they said the pasta's were good, pizza was ok. I had the burger which was very poor, no lettuce or tomato, heavily chargrilled and that was all I could taste, also overcooked very dry. Charged £1.45 for a single slice of cheese to be added and given the burger was £17.95 with no salad this seemed very poor value. Chips were good. Other diner had chicken supreme which was ok. Ingliston is a lovely place but food just wasn't very good so wouldn't go out my way to return."

"As i say, book ahead. Food wise, the enchiladas are the best in the area, but the daily specials mean daily special. They weren't on yesterday, probably won't be on tomorrow so if you want one, order it. Chef will believe you if you order rare steak or duck (both on the specials), and can also do things like cooking scallops properly. The bar staff will actually mix cocktails properly. I ordered a Virgin Mary and got the full service with the cocktail shaker, not just a few drops of Tabasco in a glass then add a bottle of tomato juice. The only reason this is a 5* review is that I can't do a 6* one."

"This restaurant offers excellent food for takeout only. The pizza is amazing, and the steak pie is the best in Dumbarton. The enchiladas come in both vegetable and chicken options and are very tasty. There are so many options to choose from. The fish is fresh, not frozen, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. This is a great spot for a dinner meal, with prices averaging between £20 and £30 per person. I highly recommend trying the steak pie."

"I HAVE GIVEN THIS PLACE 5 STAR REVIEWS ON HERE IN THE PAST FEW YEARS BUT NOT ANY MORE! I order a meal for delivery last week it was my partners birthday and we spent almost £30 on a meal for both of us. It had been a long time since we had a delivery as we didn 't bother during the lockdowns as carry out places were so busy. We ordered the following: SPECIAL CURRY/FRIED RICE CHICKEN MUSHROOM/FRIED RICE SPARE RIBS IN PEKING SAUCE SWEET SOUR CHICKEN It was midweek but the order still took 40 mins it used to be 15. Food was hot so good there. The special curry was all curry sauce and sparse....really sparse...ingredients....a total rip off. The sweet and sour chicken 's batter was soggy they really don 't know how to make batter. The peking spare ribs were the worst thing I have ever had the misfortune to buy from any chinese resturant in my 45 years of ordering from them. It was just BONES nothing but BONES there was no meat on them at all but even worse was the sauce!!! Anyone who has ever bought this dish will know that what you pay extra for is the luxurious, delicious, peking sauce, which is a rich thick sauce which tastes absolutely DELICIOUS but this was just sour WATER it was absolutely DISGUSTING and was the exact same sauce as the disgusting sweet and sour sauce which was just SOUR SOUR SOUR there was no sweetness to it, no tomato, in it no pineapple in it, just pure GARBAGE....the whole meal was a disaster. Three days later we tried again at the silver star Chinese in Dumbarton East and oh my god what a difference the special curry was full of ingredients and the peking ribs were EXACTLY what they should be that luxurious delicious sauce we all know and love. The ribs themselves were thick with eating and they even made it look visibly good by garnishing it with red and green peppers, onions, etc. Never ever again will I go to Tastes good (hah!!!! not!!!! STAY WELL AWAY FOLKS THE HONEYMOON IS WELL AND TRULY OVER!"
