Authentic swiss restaurant and delicious lunch menus. A hidden gem located in the woods of “Dolder Berg”.

Very good Leberli with Rösti, excellent venison ragout, nice selection of wines, cozy room, dog-friendly. The only downside: rather expensive. If you want to eat well in Zurich these days you have to pay.

Not recommendable! The behavior of the staff was not pleasant and courteous and unfortunately the food wasn't really good either, the price/performance ratio wasn't right and the ambience wasn't good either due to the staff! Seems very focused on profit and not the well-being of the guests.

We come to this place nearly everytime we are in Zurich. Friendly service good Swiss food ! Last time I had Filet stroganoff with Rösti my husband Hörnli und Gehacktes (minced meat) you can even have half portions if you like ! I like their Millefeuille for desert ! If you feel like walking in the woods you are right there !

In the forest and yet central to the city. The restaurant is idyllically located in a forest clearing, about a 10-minute walk from the Dolderbahn mountain station. Perfect for getting in the mood before arriving and digesting as you walk. The food is very good. I had my best tomato mozzarella salad here. 4 different types of tomatoes with a very, very fine Mozzarella di Buffalo. Then spareribs with a baked potato with sour cream. Heavenly! Definitely worth another visit.

Nach einem schönen Spaziergang erreicht man das Restaurant Degenried in einer grossen Waldlichtung (man könnte auch hinfahren, aber wäre eigentlich schade).Die Speisekarte ist bewusst rustikal gehalten, aber mit vielen Feinheiten gespickt.Wo findet man noch Chäshörnli mit Zutaten zum Auswählen oder zum Dessert Fotzelschnitte mit Vanilleglace? Es hat für jeden Geschmack etwas Feines.Der Service ist freundlich, kompetent und schnell, auch bei vollem Restaurant.Einzig der Cappuccino war enttäuschend, da fehlte der Kaffeegeschmack. Alles in Allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant!

Man kann es sich zuerst gar nicht vorstellen, dass dort hinten im Wald ein Restaurant sein soll. Parkplätze hat es die ganze Strasse nach hinten. Dort angekommen wird man sehr freundlich begrüsst. Für CHF 45.00 bekommt man das ganze Brunch-Buffet, Kaffee non-stop (ausser Cappuccino + Latte Macchiato was extra kosten würde), sowie Omeltte und/oder Spiegelei mit Zutaten nach Wahl und Prosecco zum Schluss.Das Buffet bietet alles was man möchte. Von Lachs, über Brotauswahl, über Käse, Fleisch, hartgekochte Eier, Rührei, Speck, Würstchen, Wurst-Käse-Salat im Gläschen, etc. . Der Service holt vorzu das dreckige Geschirr ab ohne lange warten zu müssen.
