Today's dinner was disappointing i had to wait about 5 minutes for the gravy and it was weak the mash was not very good and the roasties was pathetic and I didn't have the meat that I intended to have overall I would give it a 2 ratting Price per person: £40–50 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a wonderful afternoon with my fiancé this afternoon (18.11.23). We had the festive 3 course meal and both left feeling VERY bloated indeed. Another diner at my table remarked that they had never seen such a small serving of meat before, and declared they would not return. I also will not be going back. When I asked for a bit more, my request was denied. A man in front of me also expressed his dissatisfaction, saying he had never seen such a small serving of meat at a carvery before. It was my first time there, and I won't be returning. I prefer to go back to the Dusty Miller instead.

This is a fantastic spot for a Sunday lunch carvery. There’s plenty of seating and parking available. I recommend making a reservation if you're planning to go for Sunday lunch, as seats can fill up quickly. While the lines may look long, the service is efficient, so they move along swiftly. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning myself. Price per person: £10–20; Food rating: 4/5.

This restaurant is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. The menus are sticky when you try to read them, and the restrooms are not clean either. The overall atmosphere is dark and uninviting, with leftover food left on tables after customers have departed. We spent an hour there, and dirty plates remained on tables the entire time. The food at the carvery looked dried out, as if it had just been sitting there waiting to be served—it was quite unappetizing. We opted for pizza and a burger, which were decent, but we definitely won't be coming back.

I enjoyed the visit, but somethings that frustrated me. The app didn’t use the voucher I attached for a free drink, the staff were great, and sorted it without question. The pub itself was ‘cloudy’ I returned home and had to shower, my clothes straight in the wash. A burnt greasy kinda smell. It wasn’t great. You could see a mist as you glanced accross the pub. Probably means I won’t be returning anytime soon tbh. The food wasn’t as good as my previous visit, but this could have been the experience with the most that knocked it. We ate the food and it was okay, as expected. Took a while to arrive, it wasn’t busy. Staff were great!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the eating area was clean and tidy. We had battered mushrooms with garlic dip which were very disappointing as they were soggy and not crispy as expected to have with a garlic dip. The dip was quite runny too so didn't work well with the mushrooms. Previously, De Rhodes Arms did breaded mushrooms which were very crispy and juicy served with a thick garlic dip which was delicious, these were much better in my opinion. We then had pizzas which were very nice, the only complaint is that there is far too much cheese on them and can be difficult to eat and drowns out the other flavours on the pizza. Voir le carte
