"We live locally and have taken friends and family to Cut the Mustard for Saturday brunch. The food has always been wonderful, all made from scratch and you can see from their social media how much effort goes in to each and every thing that...they do. Huge kudos to Jimmy, he definitely isn’t taking the easy route with his lovely cafe. The coffee is great and juices are fresh. I had a wonderful granola last time I went with cherries and Greek yoghurt and it’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in ages. Last time we went we also bought a sourdough loaf to bring home and it was very tasty. We sliced it and popped it in the freezer for yummy weekend breakfasts. It’s great to have such a fantastic local and independent cafe."

Our new favourite brunch spot in south London. I follow ctm on instagram and admire the time, love and effort put into this cafe. Each dish is perfectly crafted to compliment the chef’s skills, it truly is the tastiest brunch in our area. Really hope...that it gets the support it deserves, keep up the good work ctm your locals are rooting for you!

I'm lucky enough to live around the corner from CTM so I've had many a fine breakfast there. Jimmy's little cafe is everything you could hope for if you're a fan of great coffee, delicious food great service. You will also find homemade cakes,...sausage rolls and the best sourdough (named Frank) you will ever eat. So if that's you, make your way to Cut the Mustard on Moyser Rd in Furzedown. You'll be so glad you did!

We live locally and regularly visit for a takeaway coffee and to buy a loaf of ‘Frank’ the fabulous sourdough. Visited last week with my newborn. Welcomed by kind and caring front of house staff. Ordered a pot of tea and pancakes which were...so delicious that I’m still thinking of them. I’ll be back soon!!! It’s clear how much love and hard graft goes into this place, and I’m very grateful to have it round the corner.

We live around the corner yet haven't been often as I'm not a coffee drinker. Having watched the cafe's instastories I was amazed at the level of effort put into running the cafe and that pretty much everything is made from scratch! We were keen...to support them and had a mushroom melt and Sclater St toastie to takeaway and both were delicious! Will be back for a proper brunch soon. Keep up the good work, it's a lovely cafe to have nearby. Voir le carte

After following on Instagram for some time I finally had chance to make it to Cut The Mustard. I only stayed for coffee and cake (I got the last slice of carrot cake which was delicious) but I will be back for brunch! The interior...is cute and laid back, and the service from the guys behind the counter was great. I also managed to get the last loaf of porridge sourdough which has been amazing to use at home. Can’t wait to return next time and support the business!

Ah this place is such hidden gem in Tooting, it’s tucked away in a residential area. It’s a really cute café with some outdoor seating too. There’s some great choices on the menu. My sister and I both went for the salt beef, cheese and...sauerkraut sandwich and crispy potatoes. It was absolutely delicious and excellent quality. My mocha was a good amount of chocolatey too. Prices were about average and the service was exceptionally good. This is one of my favourite places for brunch/lunch in Tooting.

this is my local café. I love it. the coffee that eats are all the way to top! the new supplements of the menu to borrow the nutella cinnamon brooch beans are quite easy to die for nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom if I could give a feedback, it would be around the service. it is haphazard unconsistent. sometimes good others really not. not under control. but don't let them go. it is a fab local business, the coffee is good, eating is great, it is a friendly relaxed place to go. Whenever I'm at the weekend home, I'm here for brunch. Voir le carte

We regularly visit this cafe for breakfast when we can, and can’t recommend it enough. Everything on your plate has been made from scratch, and it shows in the quality and flavour. The freshly baked bread is unbelievably good and sells out quickly. Every item...on the menu is beyond your standard breakfast items, and yes you will pay a bit extra than a normal brunch cafe but in my opinion it is totally worth it. One of the best breakfast/brunch cafes in South London. Well done to the chef and the team. Also, if there are pumpkin and almond tarts on sale, make sure you get one..!

I live about mins away from Cut The Mustard, which is both good and bad. It makes for a special trip (worthwhile), although if I lived closer, I’d probably be in everyday. Have had the Priory in the past, this time went for...the Peggy. Also took some sourdough home (and a cheeky salted caramel brownie). Follow Jimmy/CTM on Instagram to see the love and dedication that goes into this place. Inspiring. Don’t bother going if you’re the kind of person that studies the prices on the menu, it’s not expensive, but if you don’t understand high quality produce and attention to detail, then you won’t ‘get it’. You get what you pay for and like I said, I’d be there everyday if I was closer. Keep up th...

"I was super excited to come to this restaurant as someone friends recommended it to us before and today we went to a friends birthday. I was extremely disappointed because my expectations were really high specially when the restaurant has 4.9 stars. The staff definitely needs some training as the service we received was shocking. First we were waiting for glasses to drink our sangria for a good ten minutes, then we ordered started and main and we were missing one of the starters we then said that it was fine because the lady that brought the starters to us insinuated it was our fault and stated she only had one in the ticket even thought the other guy who took the order double checked it. Then it was time for the mains everything came out apart for our food which he said was coming in a few minutes, we received our food after 45 minutes not only that but no one came to apologise to us and they didn’t even realised we were missing food. Which makes me think they were only focusing on cleaning and closing instead of taken care of the only customers in the restaurant. When my other friends were eating some people came and at that point we were told not to laugh for no reason. They got their food first so we were definitely forgotten and highlighted it to the guy. He was joking around and we didn’t even get a proper apology. The lady there was really rude and was very clear to all of us that she didn’t want to be there and that was really off putting. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all unless you want to be treated horribly."
