"What 's the point in reserving a table, weeks in advance only to turn up to the restaurant to find that the booking was ignored me we had to wait 10 minutes for staff to clear a table? Waste of time. Baroushka has gone from a lovely restaurant into a 'pack 'em in ' fast food joint."

"The Wagamama is a very popular restaurant at the moment at least if you judge from the fullness and noise. The food is good but not very much, but too expensive. the staff quick and friendly. Unfortunately they can't quite keep up... it was pretty dirty."

"in London there are other cities you know) this would have been 4 out of five however for a provincial town technically a city it has a cathedral) this was an excellent experience the service was attentive without being over powering the menu was sufficiently varied without being unrealistically over packed and all the dishes well executed judging from the comments from other tables around me. I chose the steak tartare and the Breton fish stew. The steak tartare was as good as the Ivy quite the complement) with an extra zing from the capers and added mild Tabasco, I added this BTW. The fish stew was packed with seafood and really well cooked. I personally felt it was a little under seasoned but I like my seafood on the salty side. I would recommend both dishes to foodies, especially if you haven’t tried steak tartare before quite rare to find these days , no pun Intended) all accompanied by a large glass of the house Merlot an excellent paring if you don’t follow the traditional white wine with fish! A robust and competency executed dinner thanks and as MacArther said “ I shall return”. Well done"

"Visited for a weekly ‘date night’ and despite friendly service and a nice atmosphere, the majority of the food left a lot to be desired. Both myself and my partner ordered a pizza for the main course, both of which were surprisingly bland with very little flavour. The dough was also somewhat granular when eating the crusts. My partner’s starter of what was essentially deep fried melted cheese with arrabbiata was extremely poor the arrabbiata was in fact seemingly shop bought sweet chilli sauce, and the cheese balls had zero flavour despite being made of cheese! The one saving grace were the portobello mushrooms with goats cheese this starter was delightful however I cannot help but think this was more down to the raw ingredients being tasty rather than any ingenuity in the preparation. The presentation was also strong, so we can give them that! Overall a poor experience, particularly given this is one of the more expensive restaurants in the area. Safe to say we won’t be returning"

"Excellent food and welcoming staff. However, the venue was a bit of a letdown due to exposed utilities on the ceiling and a somewhat chilly atmosphere. The meals were outstanding, and the staff provided friendly service during the ordering process. They struck a nice balance, not being overly intrusive while we were eating, and they checked in with us once to ensure everything was satisfactory—unlike some places that linger too closely! Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, the server was engaging and friendly. Overall, I'd rate the food a perfect 5."
