"you can forget about getting a window seat if you ain 't white, you may get a chance if you speak their language. we are being brought near a window seat but an european simply stood up and moved to the window without even requesting for a change, we 're shocked when they allowed them to take the window seat and denied us one when the intention is for us. rude waitress when she gave priority to them and loudly brushed us away. we took a look around and noticed non-asians are seated by the windows whilst asians are generally assigned away from the prime area and this further affirms when a group of 4 asians walked in and was swiftly rejected by the same waitress when they requested for the empty seats by windows. food is forgettable.. eat at the self-serve cafe and protect yourself from being discriminated. disappointed that such primitive mindset actually happened in switzerland."

Nice food, very friendly staff and usually the view is amazing, but we were unlucky with the weather, so we could only see clouds up there

Very nice ambience, and we were served by friendly staff Simone! : The cheese fondue is great with a hint of wine taste, love it more with potatoes

If you want to get away from the mob then try here. Service and food great with no long wait. Unfortunately, not a good view on the day as it was cloudy but did clear a bit towards the end. Recommend a window seat if possible. Voir le carte

We had lunch here after our Jungfraujoch tour. The service was excellent. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Good food options to pick specially food vegetarians. The location is amazing but we couldn’t enjoy as it was snowing and covered completely. But definitely recommend everyone to have this experience!

Tartare with a view. Of course, the Jungfraujoch is home to Europe's highest railway station. Nestled at an altitude of over 3,500 meters, it's awe-inspiring. Of course, there are the alpine pastures, the cows, the cogwheel trains and the enchantment. But the real magic happens at Crystal. Their tartar is simply perfect. There's nothing conventional about it, and purists may cry foul. But open your mind and ask for it. You won't be disappointed. It's not made with exotic ingredients, quite the opposite, but its smoky flavor, thanks to a hint of whisky, is excellent. Of course, the restaurant also offers a selection of dishes suitable for other diets. Bonus: the fondue is also very, very good...

"Not in the midst of Zurich or Bern, not really close to much at all. Far off in a valley in the canton of Wallis lies this little gem. Reading the menu it was very soon clear that the choice would be the Gourmet 's Magic (Gourmetzauber) menu. A minimum of two people required and reasonably priced for seven courses. Safe to say that it has been a surprising journey throughout those well-prepared dishes. The amuse bouche was a great little homage to the region itself, with some regional cheese not to be missed. Although again, the ethical viewpoint in mind, it is also very safe to say that the two variations of foie gras were marvelous. The roulade with the plums was a very fine idea. The sea bass with pumpkin and oranges was quite the dream. Well fried and with a deliciously rounded up taste. A good combination that I will certainly remember when cooking at home. As for the rabbit I can only bow to the chef. Having an Alsatian heritage, I grew up with rabbit meat. Once in a while on Sundays it was time for Grandma 's rabbit, cooked as a whole. The à point creation we have been served at the Gommerstuba has truly been one of the best main courses I have eaten yet. And yes, I am saying this after having been in some very good restaurants already. But with the flavors, the tenderness, and the degree of doneness they have outdone themselves. The dessert was a little disappointing though. It might just be a matter of taste, but the red cabbage and the seabuckthorn ice cream with the chocolate just didn 't work for me. Thumbs up for creativity, but you know what they say about going overboard with things... The ambience and service doesn 't keep up with the food, that 's for sure. But it does keep up with the town. It fits right in and the staff does so too. Friendly and cozy. I would recommend a stop by to every skiing and hiking tourist in the area who wants to have a special meal. A meal you won 't forget."
