"Had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated as staff were busy. Not sure why there’s a requirement for the staff need to seat you, when you have to go up to the till yourself to order food drinks, rather than it being table service. The table wasn’t clean but the server spotted this before we did and wiped it over. Quite a lot of choice on the menu which was good. When we ordered, it was irritating that they wouldn’t swap a gelato flavour in a sundae. At the end of placing the order, only then were we told there would be quite a long wait for the desserts (in the end, we waited even longer than the length of time they advised). Took over 20 minutes for staff to bring us just some tap water. They were busy but seemed to be prioritising takeaway/delivery orders rather than customers there in person. My Mum and brother both ordered sundaes, these arrived first with several minutes between. 10 minutes later, my waffle had still not arrived. By this point, my brother had finished his dessert obviously he couldn’t delay eating due to the ice cream melting! I asked one of the staff how long the waffle would be, she was clueless so we had to check with someone else. I commented that people on another table who didn’t go into Creams until half an hour after we did and ordered way after us had got their waffles before me! Staff could not explain this. The waffle was a high price point at £9, so for that cost I didn’t expect to be waiting 45 minutes and lose the opportunity to eat dessert at the same time as my family. Understandably, I complained. The manager was apologetic and explained the delay was due to them having to make more waffle mixture. I suggested they should have put the sundaes together once the waffle was nearly ready, so the desserts could have come out together common sense for a small party to be served their food altogether, surely?! They offered a free drink by way of an apology. The desserts tasted very nice and were generous portions. It was a real shame because the slow service and lengthy wait between the first third desserts being served impacted on our experience of enjoying pudding out as a family. Cutlery wasn’t the cleanest either."

First time visiting cremes today. Staff were extremely friendly, served us despite being quite close to closing time. All of the girls were really friendly, food was fab! Would definitely recommend. Voir le carte

Enjoyed the waffle and gelato that the wife and I shared. Big portions and friendly and helpful staff. Gelato could have been creamier and unfortunately they had no strawberries but these are both minor.

Was enjoying a lovely dessert with some friends in the restaurant when I overheard a woman screaming at staff about Ferrero roches. I have been here many times and have always had a wonderful time. The woman was clearly overexaggerating as the waitress walked past my table with the dessert and it looked fine to me. She told the staff that her work was awful which I disagree. Great going guys keep it up x Voir le carte

Firstly, the cookie dough was made in a microwave. The manager was ABSOLUTLY horrific. Was nothing but abrupt and rude to her staff members. Not something the public should see, not professional at all. I came in on the Tuesday the 19th of March 2024. Left so shocked as if my manager ever spoke to me like that I would have quit on the spot. I came in this weekend and spoke to the team leader Leah and Sammy who was absolutly lovely, a delight to speak to and made me feel very welcome and I will definitely be coming back just for their service. However, better management need to be put in place!

Visited the restaurant with family, I was served by a polite young lady who later bought part of the order across to the table she was extremely pleasant and welcoming. One of the desserts we’d ordered cookie dough was partially uncooked, the server advised us sometimes they don’t cook evenly, she offered us a part refund which she suggested. The manager came over to the table with an absolutely stinking attitude and told me how the cookie dough was cooked and that it wasn’t undercooked, she was very matter of fact but failed to understand that the dessert was undercooked. I wasn’t going to argue with her as it seemed she was already stressed with the handful of customers in the shop. Very d...

"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."
