Superb food. Excellent, friendly service from totally committed staff of all ages. Great to see the younger members of the team taking responsibility. Wonderful setting. Very good value. We would highly recommend it.

in the middle of the day. this hotel is 1st class. great love for detail, beautiful location, friendly efficient staff. chris the general manager goes out of his way to ensure that the guests are well looked after. he even arranged a meal for us that was not on the menu. excellent, this hotel should not be 10 stars 5!

eating here is simply amazing! the rooms (i ve in more than one) are spacious with magnificent views around the hotel, comfortable beds and very nice bathroom (many with showers and bathtubs). the service is very friendly and helpful for everyone with members of the dinge. I was a guest of the restaurant and the hotel to a series of occasions and will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely hotel , such a friendly team from the management down to young Hamish , the whole experience was wonderful being greeted on reception by Bella the hotel yorkie sat on her bed on the reception desk , we had our dog with us and everyone made a fuss of him which he loved , the whisky choice was great and the food superb , this was our first stay here but it won't be our last . Well worth the drive I found it searching luxury pet friendly hotels 5*

this hotel was booked in very last minute while I worked away, came in quite much cheaper than hotels in inverness. I was a little concerned by this fact, but I have to say that this is just one of the most beautiful hotels in which I stayed. the hotel settings are stunning and the hotel itself is full of history. the room I had was more than I expected, the bathroom was immaculately a modern but more classic. the room itself was the same, the staff is friendly and very attentive. the quality of food is absolutely excellent. they will not be disappointed to stay here.

that was randomly found while looking for a caffe for a cuppa. the best accident! decided to book for Friday night after being pampered with delicious coffee, bread and tablet. we had a four poster room that was stunning. even a TV in the bathroom! the dinner was delicious. I had the poisoning and nabeby the pig bell. both cooked to perfection. the cheeseboard for dessert was a step too far. it was huge! in the lounge for coffee and a wee dram from the extensive whisky menu. in the morning after the breakfast was a walk on the ground nice. can not recommend this place very much. it's family owned and everyone we met has worked hard to make our stay perfect.

A wonderfully secluded and beautiful traditional' hotel. I had a one night stay at Coul House and was fortunate to get some great weather. Having walked around the extensive and well maintained gardens and then sitting on the terrace in the afternoon sunshine looking at the horses in the field at the end of the lawn, I felt relaxed and very content. The room itself was fine, not spectacular but clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was competent but not outstanding: crab, tomato and fennel bisque for a starter was tasty enough but I couldn't detect any fennel.
