"This is a Conveniently positioned Cafe in Richmond Park, close to Roehampton Gate, with a large car park and adjacent Restrooms! The friendly staff provide a slick service. That said, due to the Cafe’s popularity at this picturesque rendezvous point, they can sometimes be put under pressure at Peak Visiting times: A degree of patience and understanding is sometimes needed! There is a good selection of Hot Cold food and drinks, offering a Select choice of Coffees and Pastries (See photos! . It is very popular ‘Stop’ for Cyclists ‍; there is a large external ‘Decking Patio Area, with seating and Tables, providing a ‘Delightful Alfresco Ambience’ with a Park view. The Cafe is ‘Dog Friendly’ and during Summertime provide an Outdoor Coffee and Ice Cream Service. Overall, I highly recommend visitors in the Park to ‘Take Time Our’ to visit and experience this Delightful Petite Park Patisserie Cafe!"

Coffee was overpriced and bitter. Staff were rude, awful customer service. Food was poor quality and not worth the money

Rude staff, stale overpriced baps. There are so many nice places to eat at in Wimbledon and surrounding areas, so I would avoid this place.

This is my go-to place to relax when I'm in Richmond Park. It's a cozy spot, but it's often crowded and getting a table can be difficult. The cleanliness could be improved, but they do serve excellent coffee, tea, cakes, and pastries. It would be fantastic if they could renovate it like the Phesantry cafe in Bushy Park. Voir le carte

Some years ago, this was a good place for a lunch while walking. Today, I visited had probably the worst bowl of homemade soup I have ever tasted. As for my wife 's choice of some kind of chicken, words fail me. I think the soggy cardboard box in which it was served was probably more wholesome. They say they want staff, oh how they need them!

I came here with my two young children for a cup of tea and an afternoon treat. There were no snacks available at 3:30pm apart from crisps and popcorn. My 4 year old asked why there was no recycling the staff couldn't help me with this come on folks it is 2019!!!Plastic water cups for the free water and no glasses available defeats the object.

This is /should be a lovely pit stop when you visit Richmond Park. Choice of salads and pastries look great. It’s let down by staff who are disinterested, poorly trained and seem more interested in chatting to themselves rather than focus of the needs of customers. Another establishment that thinks that quality starts and ends with the menu but forgets that customers come first. Voir le carte

Unfortunately visitors are likely to venture in as it is one of the few eateries within the Park. Food poor and expensive for what it is. £2 for a paper cup with a teabag help yourself to milk and sugar. A piece of cake is around £3 and a jacket potato with filling £6.95. Tables and chairs together with overall cleanliness somewhat lacking. I could find nothing to commend the place other than the staff were polite.

I came on a family trip for a coffee stop. Location is great and the selection of coffees and cakes spot on. Raspberry muffin and bacon bap both delicious, as were the hot drinks. Only problem was the amount of time it took at the outdoor bar to order and get the food. One member of staff very slow and the other appeared to be doing very little! Both were friendly but I feel they need to speed up and work together better in the busy summer months!

"We arrived frazzled because we drove around the grounds in the dark not knowing where to go. The signage inside the grounds is no help at all. Allow time for this if you haven't been before. Fortunately we had because we wanted a pre dinner drink in the bar before we ate. Even when we did arrive we weren't sure if we had arrived at the back entrance because we stood for ages with no welcome or acknowledgement. A very disappointing start to our evening. When someone did come they didn't take our coats. We went through to the snug for a drink. They gave us menus and went away. Later came back for our order. We got our drinks and ordered our food. Then very quickly afterwards we were asked to go through to the restaurant. We had only had a couple of sips of our drinks and it was still prior to the time we had actually booked our table for (7.30pm). We felt rushed. The food came and was fabulous. I had the beetroot starter which had beautifully cooked beetroots and some pickles. It also had a grain through it. I couldn't remember what the grain was so asked a member of staff. She didn't know so went away to ask and came back saying it was probably buckwheat....probably! My main was pork belly with parsnip and an apple reduction. The pork could have been cooked a little longer. I think belly needs to be very well cooked until really soft. The top skin was impossible to cut through as it was not crisp, I couldn't eat it. A steak knife would have helped. Having said that it was still a good dish which could have been excellent. We had sides of mashed potato and greens with pickles both superb. The presentation of both dishes was innovative and inviting. Portion size was good too not tiny portions of fiddled with food which I much prefer. The service was not as polished as the food. There was no obvious manager and we had different servers which is never quite as good as one for the entire meal. The servers were scruffy not appropriate for such a lovely building. Overall it was OK but could have been superb with more attention to some details. Service: 2 Location: 3"
