"As a barista, I take massive pride in what I serve to the public, dialling in an espresso recipe that will work for the uneducated coffee drinker to the coffee connoisseur. Then to strive to produce latte art and an experience to the customer after...that. This is not the experience I had today at Coffee Laughable name. This place’s coffee was not cared about. At all. The “barista” didn’t really seem to know what a flat white is even supposed to be. It was uncared about plonked on a saucer, poured milk into the espresso on the counter and while I’m at it, he had a thermometer in the jug and it was hotter than hell! Use your fingers as a gauge for crying out loud! A good flat white should be served drinkable! I get that no-one in this town knows any better but for me to contemplate Costa afterwards (which I didn’t go to) shows how low the standards are here. I wasn’t planning on it being another years before I came back but maybe if it was another then there might be somewhere in Bicester doing it right. Maybe."

This restaurant offers a typical coffee house atmosphere with delicious food and excellent service. It has a spacious interior and outside seating area where you can sit and watch the world pass by.

I absolutely adore this cafe, especially their amazing hot chocolate. However, I was let down to discover that they are not maintaining proper hygiene standards during the COVID-19 pandemic. The tables were not clean when we sat down, so we had to clean them ourselves.

A great venue to sit and catch up with friends over coffee and cake. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and welcoming with plenty of beverages and food to choose from. Dairy free and other preferences available. Also dog friendly. There is usually a small queue to be served but it is worth the wait :

I go to coffee no every time in in town now! I have to say I can't fault it. Their staff are always super friendly and accommodating, their coffee is consistently delicious and their range of plant based milks and bakery goods are fantastic....I particularly recommend getting a mocha. They really don't go stingy in the chocolate (unlike Costa), and the flavour is a and perfectly balanced blend of rich cholate and deep coffee. Amazing every time!

in consideration of the fact that this is one of over coffee shops in bicester, I would have thought that the staff could make a little effort. I was very wrong. the coffee here is mülled and made by people who are more interested in clapping and...shadows between themselves that eat the drinks. I took my drink back as it was tepid and watery, I was then confronted by a man (which I suspect was the manager) barked on me what is wrong with him.' never again

"I’m frustrated and annoyed with booking a romantic meal for our year wedding anniversary, with the current pandemic and work commitments it made a change to make an effort and be excited to visit the boxing hare as the reviews had been excellent. We...were seated in the garden room, next to a family who were on first name terms with the waiting staff and who were so loud I thought I was at a Chelsea match! We received complimentary glasses of champagne and we placed our order for starters and main which were excellent however I felt rushed with the service, as much as I tried to have a conversation all I could hear was this family at decibels to which enough was enough usually I would say something, however rather than ruin there evening I asked for us to be reseated to which the waiting staff were in agreement that they were loud! So why place us next to them? We were given a table in a different part of the pub still busy with other diners giving respect to one another. The table given I was advised I had as it was reserved? I placed dessert order and two lattes with baileys followed by the bill! The bill was a tad on the steep side for a gastro pub perhaps the prices are based on the price of fuel to fill the owners Bentley Overall felt it was a rushed evening disappointed with the seating arrangements,I won’t be returning as I felt what was important to us wasn’t important to the Boxing Hare I’ve had better evenings at The Falkland Arms Great Tew, The Great Western Aynho"
