"The Wood Street area of Waltham Forest has always been a mixture of old fashioned suburb and light industry, with a scattering of decentish pubs and cafes. But it was only a matter of time before the yummy mummies who can't quite afford Walthamstow Village arrived. And this tiny cafe caters for them. The coffee is good, and the food presented with care, but the food menu hipster to the point of caricature yes, of course there is smashed avocado on sour dough toast. In fact all the bread seems to be sourdough, and the cakes vegan, as was much of the rest of the menu, although poached eggs were on offer . Ours were undercooked and served on toast so tough you would have needed a steak knife to cut it easily. And the cafe, although attractively decorated, is so small that by the time two mothers, land rover scale buggies and free range toddlers plus one worker and lap top, had been fitted into the space available, there was little left for anyone else we were crammed precariously into a corner. The service was pleasant, and the venture clearly is clearly attractive to some of the kind of customer who is likely to order turmeric lattes, but would surely do better in the long term if they could evolve their own style rather than trying to replicate Shoreditch fashion c2015."

The coffee here is delicious and the portion size is great for the price, especially when compared to other coffee shops nearby. I will definitely be coming back to try the food next time!

The staff at Coffee Boxx are so friendly and welcoming, their service is only surpassed by the food and ridiculously good drinks! Dog friendly and serving multiple vegan and gluten free options, it's a great place to relax or stop by for a pick me up.

I went to this restaurant with a friend. I ordered a mocha and a caramel slice, while my friend got a latte and a bakewell slice. The service was good and the man working behind the counter was friendly. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and a lovely garden.

The food is tasty and the coffee is excellent, but the prices are a bit high. For instance, I ordered what I believed was a freshly squeezed orange juice for £3, only to see the waitress pour out a bottle of Sainsbury's orange juice. This feels like a complete rip-off to me! Voir le carte

This is one of my locals and a place I love to go for coffee. Their vegetarian menu is amazing and so is their beetroot latte (alternative to caffeine) highly recommend for those looking for something different. Say Hi to Vic and Sonny who are sure to always welcome you with open arms.

The restaurant's quality is inconsistent. At times, the food is flavorful and enjoyable, but other times, like today, everything was poorly prepared, which is disappointing considering the price I paid. With many great food options popping up in the area, they will need to step up their game to remain competitive.

What a great asset to this area. Wonderful coffee that actually tastes as good as it smells, with choices of milk to meet all dietary needs. The coconut latte was delicious! They do great snacks like smashed avocado on crunchy whole grain bread with perfectly poached eggs to full scale vegetarian blow out breakfasts as well as those naughty treats like chewy flapjacks, and a range of cakes. A limited number of juices and smoothies offered too. The staff are lovely both welcoming, polite and friendly. Coffee Boxx in Walthamstow offers a unique and delicious dining experience. We tried the Mumbai scrambled eggs fry up, which consisted of spicy street styled scrambled eggs, veggie sausage, spicy beans, mushrooms, and tomatoes served with sourdough bread. We’ve lived in the area for nearly 2 years and although Walthamstow has many little coffee shops, they are often rammed and just a bit too far away to pop out to. Coffee Boxx is In a perfect location. The range of drinks is wide and best of all their vegan offer is outstanding. Alternative milks offered at no extra charge and every day they have a different vegan special.
