"This restaurant is definitely a local pub. We got a nice table outside because the inside space was crowded. We ordered and paid inside, then brought our own drinks outside and waited for our food. It arrived after a while. I tried the pie and mash, and while the onion gravy seemed to be from a mix, the pie itself was handmade and the potatoes were fresh. It was a pleasant experience to dine in such an authentic pub."

Wonderful little pub, strongly recommend a visit when in the city. You need to be comfortable rubbing shoulders with others in this place.

Small pub with a unique atmosphere, however, the woman working behind the bar was not very welcoming. If it weren't for being on a tour, I would have left. It's a shame because the beer was good.

Tried the apple cider on tap and it was really good. I would have preferred it to be colder, but it was still enjoyable. The food came out quickly and was fresh. They also have seating available upstairs.

This little gem is a must whenever we go to Bath. Good beers, fab food and very friendly people. Ella was our bar person when we visited recently, bright, funny and welcoming. A small but perfectly formed delight. Voir le carte

Tiny pub in an alleyway , woth a great glass stained window bath ales on tap and a great ploughmans , just a good solid pub with Ella behind the bar 100miles an hour but an absolute joy to talk to.....and her something granulated on top Mussels

Looking for good value lunch and found this pub with specials board. Fish finger sandwich stood out so my wife had that which was huuuge. I had the calamari with garlic mayo and chips and a pint which was also very tasty. Lovely historical pub, friendly staff. Perfect.
