"I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, which is a first for me and has made me reconsider returning. I ordered chocolate milk tea, honeydew melon milk tea, and taro milk tea, but unfortunately, they did not meet our expectations. The chocolate didn't taste like milk tea, the taro tasted like cocoa, and the honeydew melon milk tea was lacking the honeydew melon flavor and tasted like plain cold tea. I went back to the shop shortly after picking up our order and was met by two unfriendly female staff members. I explained that the drinks didn't taste right, but they insisted that they only use one recipe for all milk teas. I felt that the situation could have been handled more efficiently, as I was simply looking for them to own up to their mistake and replace the drinks. Overall, I was very disappointed in the way I was treated by the staff, as I usually have a high tolerance for these types of situations."

We popped in to get some bubble tea. The staff were helpful and efficient and the tea was ready quickly, and was fresh and tasty too. No complaints here.

We all stopped by Chatime for a drink. Due to Covid, there were entry restrictions in place. After being called, you could order, pay, and wait outside until your name was called. The chai was tasty and refreshing.

I was curious about this place, so I went in to grab some bubble tea, and I got kinda confused with the menu (I didn't know any of the teas offered xD), but I chose roasted brown sugar pearls with fresh milk, and it was amazing!! totally recommend!! Voir le carte

If you are in Edinburgh and enjoy bubble tea, then this place is a must-visit! My daughter and I decided to check it out after she heard about it, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite her hype, it definitely lived up to our expectations.

I have three daughters who buy boba tea from Chatime all the time. (They pass it on the way home from school. We visited today, and the bespectacled girl on the till had a terrible attitude—brusque and unwelcoming. She really shouldn't be customer-facing.

I would say the drinks are pretty good but it took like 20-25 mins for my simple drink there was like one staff doing the ingredients always run out ingredients and one time me and my friend took the bus and walked there to get a drink, online said it was open but when we went there it says it ran out of ingredients so closed I hope when they closed please update online so disappointing Voir le carte

Hadn 't had a traditional bubble tea in ages, yet again you turn up and they have ran out or don 't have a lot of ingredients in stock. No milk tea? How does a specialist drinks shop run out of the main ingredient? It 's winter, I can 't imagine there was a massive rush of customers that bought all the milk tea. Made do with a black tea latte with pearls. Service is often slow as there usually just the one person working. Guess the demand is not high enough to employ 2 people to work at the same time. Only worth it if you 're passing nearby otherwise it 's not really worth it.

Lately, I’ve been on a bubble tea mission. There’s very few bubble tea places around where we live, and my daughter highly recommended Chatime. So we took the train to Edinburgh just to visit Chatime. Well, they were slightly frosty on greeting us, and didn’t have any popping bobba flavours except lychee, and also didn’t have the ingredients to make the drinks we originally ordered. We hastily ordered and waited outside for the order. Was quite disappointed to be honest. So disappointed in fact, that we walked over to another bubble tea place that we love, and got the drinks we wanted.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
