"We arrived at Central Station to find that it isn't a restaurant. It's a gay-friendly pub which happens to serve food. We had reserved a table but they didn't seem to know we were coming made us up a table next to the DJ booth, and then we had to go and order at the bar. By this point we were a little sceptical about the place but the food was lovely. I had fishcakes which were delicious served with a lovely salad, and mash, and my friends both had burgers. One was very specific as to how she wanted her bacon cooked, but they did it to perfection. No complaints at all about the food. It was fine for the 3 of us to sit and chat and catch up but I wouldn't recommend it as a classy place for a romantic meal!"

Poor service and premises were very fresh and quite dated. Food was decent

Lovely place but the food was a little disappointing at the Central Station restaurant. Would return as the service and ambience were lovely.

Very nice pub staff were not expecting us, but the barman was very friendly and helpful. Food and wine were great, very nice place for pre theatre dinner.

We arrived at the point of 9PM, have made our booking for this time. They'd think they'd do us a favor to serve us. The food was okay, but every other aspect of being was embarrassing. We will definitely not go back.

A colleague and I visited Central Station for a business lunch. Was incredibly good value. Place was almost empty, but we didnt feel crowded or ignored by the waiter. Very good value for money and excellent service. Would definately go again.

I met my boyfriend for lunch here as it was close to Kings Cross station and I had to catch a train after. The food was great, obviously home made rather than just heated up the chips were the best we'd ever tasted and the staff were lovely and really friendly. I wanted to stay all afternoon, and there's free pool! Somewhere I would go back to.

All empty except us and the staff. No steak pipe available. Eating took age, we had only burgers! The burger was hard and the base of the bungalow was hard to cut. I didn't eat the tip. In an area full of offices and residents there was no soul to have a drink or to eat! In the beginning I thought we had only arrived early at 12 noon for lunch, but it took so long until the food we left at 1.45 no one else came.

I don't know why this place is even published on Open Table. It is a very common local pub without atmosphere and Bland Food if you can even get it: After we placed our order and waited 20 minutes we were able to order two of the things we ordered (standard Pub tariff) were not available! There are only two types of beer on tap. Within few blocks are many more interesting restaurants. No reason to go out for this place.

I and 9 other friends went to the main station on a Thursday evening and I have to say that we were not disappointed. Yes the decor is not the most fluctuating, but it is a local pub and it is nice to see that it has kept its identity. It is very clean and well maintained and we had our own room upstairs, which was great. The employees were all charming, responsive, talkative and attentive. The food was extremely affordable and delicious. The burgers were made fresh and precious. Honestly speaking, a great place to eat a bite and we will no doubt go back in the future.
