"Not safe for people with food allergies. None of the staff members had any understanding what gluten was. I had to explain I couldn’t eat bread, flour, wheat etc and they then brought me a salad with couscous. I asked them for a fresh salad but I don’t think they understood how serious an issue this is for me. I have been unwell since. The service was very substandard in other respects. It felt like it was all of their first days at work. I think this cafe would benefit from decent management and training staff. It’s gone really downhill since I remember it from years ago. The cutlery was all dirty, as were the glasses. None of the tables were clean. Really disappointed"

very nice little cafe, friendly and polite staff that goes the extra mile. the coffee of my wife went cold when she had to bring our enkel to the toilet. I asked if they could warm it up for me and they gave me a fresh one.

my wife and I have had breakfast here a few times and the environment, with a view of the sea, is unbeatable. the eating itself is in the regular robust and good. and the overall experience is generally relaxing. we love it.

The cafe is small it was too cold to sit outside. Chairs tables crammed together, and far too many dogs! The whole interior is shabby and the staff disorganised. Coffee was drinkable but I cannot recommend it and never having been there before I shall not return.

Poor food, poor customer service, extremely expensive for bellow average food. A lovely customer asked me if we wanted our table cleaned. She said I don’t work here, but I’m cleaning tables if you want yours done too. We eventually got our table cleaned by one of the staff. I would not waste your money going here.

Terrible experience. Very rude staff who weren’t competent. Being accused of not paying for something. Slow service. VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is. I’m all for young people working in customer service but at least train them on our to speak to customers. Young girl working there had disgusting attitude, definitely won’t be returning.

Great little cafe situated at Caswell Bay. The coffee is particularly nice (wife says so) so it must be good. The sell a wide range of food, cakes and drinks. Plus ice cream. The hot food is served up until 4:30 pm I believe. Nice views out onto the beach and surrounding area, good to get out of the wind or rain but still enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful location. That’s the positives done. Staff were going through the motions, tables dirty: we had to ask for ours to be cleaned. There was actually another customer cleaning (and offering to clean) tables because the (young) staff weren’t doing it! Cutlery grubby and sticky. Crockery had bits of dried food stuck to it. Some items on the menu were ridiculously overpriced for what they were: a toastie for £11 for example, very pricey for a Swansea cafe! One of our toasted sandwiches was burnt and the other had stale tomatoes. We’ll definitely give it a miss in future.

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
