"We visited Caleao for a wedding and enjoyed two excellent meals at Casa Zulima the food is simple, hearty countryside food and completely delicious. We enjoyed the cured meat platter including some homemade chorizo with a nice taste of fresh paprika , the cod cooked with onions bacalao , and the stewed beef carne guisada in particular. On our second visit, we added a salad niçoise ensalada mixta and this was a very nice complement to the rich food with fresh lettuce, egg and tuna. To finish, we had a very sharp local sheep 's milk cheese with sweet apple compote queso con manzana dulce , which you will like only if you like strong cheese! The lady who runs the bar restaurant was very friendly and polite and patient with my rusty Spanish ."

I have come several times on my visits to this area of Asturias and the cuisine is spectacular. I am a vegan and Bibi has adapted dishes so that I can eat them. In fact I am leaving this review after eating some of the best lentils of my life, which I had made without animal suffering. Marvelous.

The best fried eggs with potatoes of my life (and from their chickens!!! . The cheese flan thing is already crazy. Even better than the food is the service. A wonderful place. My partner is vegan and, without a problem, they adapted dishes for him so that he could eat: the lentils tasted like the ones we ate when we were children. I almost cried with emotion.
