Excelente trato y platos caseros en todos sus componentes. Ingredientes frescos y de la zona. Decoración con solera, típica de una licorería....

En Denia hay una gran oferta de restaurante, sin embargo, nosotros somos clientes asiduos al MJ. Y lo somos, porque además de tener una buena relación...

This restaurant is incredibly busy in the summer but we are now in October and it's still quite busy, that gives you a feeling that it must be good, not necessarily so! Tapas can be expensive but if they are good and decent portions you don't mind. When the salad arrived it cost as much as a menu del dia at 9 euros and it just wasn't worth it. I found the portions nicely served in little baskets but this disguised the quantities which were small. The figatells which are meatballs were raw inside, the chicken croquettes had no discernible chicken or flavour to them. All in all disappointing and not cheap! Would be go back, no too many other restaurants in the street to choose from!

This traditional bar of Calle Loreto has always been one of the must in Denia to have the typical esmorçar (mid-mornign snack). But during February-March 2018 they have made a complete refurbishing of the kitchen and restrooms to improve the service during meals and dinners. The refurbishment has been a wise decission. The home-made dishes are really tasty and representative of the traditional Denia 's cuisine. The atmosphere of the place is the one of an ancient restaurant, but well conserved. The service is attentive, quick and familiar. The prices are still reduced. Very good value for money. Moreover, they have a very good catalogue of wines and spirits at very good prices.
