Went for a meal with a large group of family the food was good was excellent. All the food came out together and all the family commented how lovely the food was, service was 5 star nothing was a problem for the servers. Look forward to visiting here again soon. Keep up the good work guys

Went to capri on Saturday with some friends after having some drinks in the new look bar we went and had our food. The food was delicious and the ribeye…..wow! From the minute to arriving to leaving we received 5 star service we even got a lift home as our taxi didn’t turn up. Keep up the good work guys

Capri restaurant is brilliant. Decor stunning , bar stunning and the service is so friendly. All the classic Italian dishes are on the menu together with a great specials board offering various lovely dishes. We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and we always have a lovely meal and a great night Voir le carte

The service at this restaurant was lacking, as we were not greeted with a smile by the bar staff upon entry. The staff members were inattentive when taking our order and did not check in on us to see if our meal was satisfactory. Our main dish arrived within 4 minutes of ordering, but the langoustines were of very poor quality.

Family event with kids etc. Seems a fairly good restaurant with some easy changes to get to a 4 star from me. Mozzarella and prosciutto starter was basic. Needed balsamic and more, good olive oil. Calzone was fine but there are a lot of Italian restaurants that are also good so it doesn't stand above a number of others. Others were pleased so definitely not a bad place to dine, just there are plenty like this.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and got 1 meat feast pizza, 1 tomato garlic bread, and 1 calzone. Unfortunately, the calzone was empty inside, so I called the restaurant and they sent a replacement, which was also empty. The delivery driver didn't seem to care and offered no apology. The pizza garlic bread was tasty, but the calzone was disappointing. I hope this was just a one-time issue, as I have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. What can I say about Capri? I’ve been coming here for 16 years, had birthdays here, hired the room upstairs for events, come very regularly. But alas, I won’t be coming again in the near future. The last few times the service has been poor and I’ve had to send food back. They don’t seem particularly bothered about this, they just accept it. I can’t justify spending my money here any more. I don’t know what’s happened over the last couple of years but the quality and service has gone downhill. So, with a heavy heart, that’s it for me.

The starter of mozzarella and prosciutto was disappointing, with only one piece of prosciutto and half a ball of mozzarella torn up for £8.55. The staff did not check if any of the meals were satisfactory, and there was an optional 10% service charge added which we requested to be removed. The risotto with chicken and mushroom was not great either, as the chicken seemed to be cooked from frozen, making it rubbery and dry. However, the rest of the dishes were enjoyable. Overall, it's a hit or miss with what you order at this restaurant.

Had to wait 30 minutes after our booking time…great start. Of that 30 minutes, we spent 20 minutes queuing at the bar for a drink. The bar was littered with empty glasses being returned by waiters from those seated in the restaurant. We were seated near the kitchen area and had the joy of listening to cutlery being thrown around. The table was clearly put ina place without the space required as waiters had to keep asking us to move our chairs in to get past. We felt in the way. Food arrived and on the whole was good with the exception of the deep fried mozzarella which was more like ricotta and the under cooked risotto.
