Caffe Cardosi - Carte

Cake was nice but coffee was tasteless. Only coffee shop in town but don’t have decent coffee. If you like coffee go elsewhere

Delicious packed bacon roll, fruit scone with jam large latte with 2 shots all for less than £8. Exceptional value and yummy too!

Lovely coffee. Lovely staff. Would definitely recommend and return for sure. I left my sunglasses and the waiter made sure I got them back delighted as those sunglasses have been all over the world with me! Asset to Thurso. Good job! Voir le carte

The coffee I had was pleasant enough, a good selection of cakes too. However, I don’t understand why some places offer appalling WiFi like at this place. It just means I will go elsewhere in future because I need to use the net when having a coffee break, as indeed do many people.

This place is nice enough for a cup of coffee, but the food is overpriced and not particularly good. The last time I went here was with my wife. She ordered a 3 cheese toastie, well I had difficulty finding some cheese let alone 3 of them. The cakes etc. are mostly nice. I can't understand why it seems so popular.

Really enjoy meeting friends for a cake and a coffee here but wish they would start offering more dairy free milk options. The last few times they have only offered soya which isn’t the nicest in a latte. There are so many options these days and a lot of customers interested in alternatives so would be nice to have a few options available. Voir le carte

Went yesterday for coffee and cake whilst kids were at tennis. Ordered a sponge cake not realising it had lemon curd in it( which I dislike) hubby went up to change it. Which should not have been a hassle but he was tutted at??! Ridiculous and no need. He did switch it but we weren't keen on his attitude. Coffee and my shortbread was lovely

Having found that the place where I intended to eat was closed contrary to its opening times and without explanation I went into Caffe Cardosi and was pleased with its warmth, service and choice of baking. It is obviously popular, and rightly so. Service was courteous, helpful and swift. I enjoyed it so much that I went back again the next day.

We visited Caffè Cardosi hoping to have lunch but were disappointed as everything we asked for from the specials was finished (by 1230) and the usual menu isn't very exciting (sandwiches, toasties, baked potatoes). Our waitress was excellent, friendly and couldn't be more helpful, even advising us on how to get to John O'Groats. Eventually we all got something to eat (they were quite busy but it took for ever) 10/10 for our waitress, whose name was Hannah, if it wasn't for her we'd have left, but only 4/10 for the whole experience.
