"This place is next to the Hotel Centro Mondial, where we were staying and as we arrived late we basically saw the people eating inside and out and thought were hungry so let's try it. The staff and owner seemed ok not overly friendly but not rude either. They had earlier changed a note for us for the parking ticket machine outside!! The decor inside is a little tired and dated but everywhere appeared clean. We ordered drinks and three cheeseburger meals which came fairly quickly and were ok. Large plenty of fries and salad but no vinegar for the chips. Whilst eating we noticed a very small mouse scampering around and luckily for us the two women sat at the next table didn't see it so no historionics. We didn't mention it but not good really. One of my friends was ill that night however I put that down to too much German beer and sitting in the sun than anything else as everyone else was fine. We did even comeback two days later for their version of an English breakfast which again was ok. The beans weren't heinz though or English style but overall good value and cooked well."

If you have a baby don't go there, they will invite you to feed him/her in another room. I am very angry.

My friend was invited to breastfeed in another room because "people are eating here" Enough said. Shocking.

Great place to eat in Munich when you want to be relaxed, eat well and have a drink or two. We had Schnitzel there and not only was it huge it als tasted excellent which is not the case when the target is to do XXL portions. I still do not know how I managed to finish mine. Voir le carte

Honestly we can't comment on the food because we didn't eat very much before we saw a RAT scampering from table to table. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he said that it was "normal" and "healthy." Not in our book... The waiter was rude, trying to make us stay. We said we felt uncomfortable and left. I came to look at more reviews after (since it has a pretty high rating overall) and was surprised to see other reviews mentioning rats dating back a YEAR. Grossed us out.

Seriously, this schnitzel is just ridiculous. Obviously I still finished it, but it's one of the biggest I've encountered. Not the best (but still good), but the biggest. That's the end of the positives.Place was basically empty, with only a few people around (though there was a mouse running around the dining room which helped the atmosphere).Service was grumpy (smiles not allowed), then outright asked for a tip at the end. WTF? No. Seems like this is a theme based on other recent reviews. But still... Almost worth it for the schnitzel.

We visited the place for lunch. The most horrible service I ever met in Europe. The waiter was so much rude, that we couldn't even have tasted the food well. Also the point is that the whole stuff doesn't pay attention on the way the waiter demonstrated himself. As we gave the order in English he then said to the barmen in German a couple of rude and abusive words about us. As I was sitting near the bar and can clearly understand German I heard everything he said.. No matter how gorgeous food you serve, if the waiter is so much arrogant and rude it will kill the whole image of the place! Voir le carte

We first went to Cafe Mozart a couple of years ago and found the service good and the atmosphere lively. We returned this week (our second ever visit) with some friends and found it to be completely the opposite. The place was almost completely empty on a Sunday at dinner time. The waitress was unfriendly and when she brought a 6€ bottle of water to our table that we didn't order, she insisted that we had and said we must pay for it. We saw the same happen to a table next to us.The cafe no longer sells any alcohol despite having a large selection behind the bar; it turns out the owner of the building let the licence lapse. The only highlight was the novelty giant schnitzel.

We went to Cafe Mozart on a Monday morning as the first guests when the Cafe just opened and we could not believe how badly we were treated. While the huge Cafe was still totally empty except us as guests, the first thing the waiter said to us that we are not supposed to leave our luggage close to our table but only drop at at the wardrobe. The second thing he did was placing a reservation card on our table, telling us that in one hour the table will be reserved. (the Cafe was still totally empty - and after one hour only filled with two more tables. We really don't know how this Cafe deserves to have guests with such a bad attitude. We had Cappuccino and tea and both tasted average. But for...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
