"Wir waren 2x während unseres 1 wöchigen Urlaubs hier essen beide Male einfach top! Netter, aufmerksamer Service, kurze Wartezeiten und super leckeres Essen! "We had settled in the farmhouse Schieder and what was closer to it and there for dinner. From outside the restaurant looked very nice and so we decided to order a candlelight dinner for the evening. The elegant property was built around 1900 by Count Ernst Regent in the Lippe as a villa and converted into a hotel in 1990. The hotel complex has comfortably equipped apartments and a large garden terrace. In the area you will find peace and relaxation. The directly adjacent castle park with lake invites you to stay. In the immediate vicinity you will find extensive hiking and sports opportunities such as mountain biking, sailing flies, canoeing or golf. There is a separate smoking room, a beautiful beer garden and a cozy bar. The restaurant was well visited by hotel guests and guests of the place. We were very kindly received and led to our table. We received our menu and could see for the first time what awaits us. It was possible to choose between 2 wines, either a white wine from 2010 Fleur de d ́Artagnan or a red wine from 2010’s Dornfelder “Four Seasons” were selected. "I don't understand the many negative reviews. We order both at work and in private there and never had any difficulty. At work we always order at a certain time and the driver is always suitable there, private it always takes between 30 and 45 minutes. The portions are on average large and tasteless not bad.
