Cafe Baier - Carte

The cakes are very good, I had a wonderful berry cheesecake. Very creamy and not so powdery like a lot of other German cheesecakes. The coffee is good too but not fantastic. Go there if you want to eat nice cakes!

Great french sytle food offering, good coffe and delicious cakes. Quality of service and always kindness, beautiful hided courtyard for spring and summer. One of my favorite places in Berlin for Sunday brunch. Really deserving a reccomendation.

Very nice cafe in the shopping mile in Steglitz, you could actually oversee it easily. Very beautiful ild style cafe wirh good tasty food and nice service . The terrace is in a backyard so not very sunny but still a nice area to chill middle of the city . Big like :) Voir le carte

Cafe Baier is not easy to find as you enter a staircase next to a bakery at Schlosstrasse 26 in the. Busy hub of Steglietz .however, it's worth the search with a tremendous art nouveau theme, terrific rear outside terrace and a lovely place to while away a few hours enjoying the lovely food and cakes.

Cakes and breakfasts are delicious, and the interior is very pretty. I especially like the corner places with a nice view over the bustling Schlossstrasse, and the garden terrace that is nice and quiet. Can't say much about the dishes, but if you're into Austrian cuisine, you definitely have to try the "Buchteln", which are very authentic. We've been to Cafe Baier about 5 times now for coffee and cake or breakfast and the service was always quick and very friendly.

If you are visiting Germany you have to have Caffee und Kuchen' and if you are in Steglitz this is the place to have it. It looks like a nondescript little place sandwiched between some bigger internationally names, but go up stairs and you are...treated to some beautiful architecture, good coffee and lovely cakes. They serve breakfast and light lunches' until too after that it's just cake! We’ve been strolling around there and decided to go for a coffee. We didn’t want to go to one of those multinational coffee chains and walked along the Schloss Street when we saw the entrance leading up to the first floor. Curious why a coffee shop is on the first floor, we decided to walk up the stairs. To our surprise it turned out to be one of those nice & charming coffee shops with atmosphere. When we saw the guest garden, we decided to stay even longer for some food. Buchtel, Lemon cake, Crumble cake, and some more dishes. All tasted very good! Staff very friendly and helpful and very reasonable priced. Highly recommendable

What a lovely surprise. Location: A tiny, promising, entrance on the Schlosstr. (in Steglitz) leads you up the stairs to another world. The Schlossstr. is a very modern long shopping street full of chain stores and malls. I had seen the narrow entrance with a little wrought iron gate many times, telling myself I should check it out. I wish I had done so sooner! Atmosphere: The atmosphere, decor, walls, furniture, bar.. were of a different time. This small cute place is hidden from the eye, only waiting to be found. The busy Schlossstrasse, where this cafe is located, is a very lively and busy shopping street in Berlin. Latlely, between the shops we noticed a new and very small/narrow entrance with the sign "Cafe Baier". Curious we got a bit closer to discover a promising menu with interesting breakfasts. The chock hand written board menu outside also said "foie gras" which was shocking considering the lack of good french cuisine (or any good cuisine but Asian) in Berin.
