Byron - Carte

Went for a pre theatre burger as you know exactly what to expect. This visit was just what we wanted and delivered to expectations.

Great location, Burger was excellent and Tater Tots are a great alternative to Fries. Service was ok but clear the waitress was stretched and took a long time to pay. Overall very good

We are tourist from Hong Kong, few years before i came here, and i came back for Oreo Shake!! Shake is my favourite for sure!! Staff is good, service is good, food is good, everythings good Voir le carte

Nice place with lots of space and super friendly personal. Took a cheeseburger and it was very fresh and vegetable-y. Onions rings are donuts-big and the fried chicken is slightly spicy and very good.

Horrible, freezing cold shed of a venue. Asked for one of the completely empty booths and was told they were for 4 only. Given no choice of table. Fries were cold, in fairness these were removed from the bill. Customer service was poor. Food average. The business has not improved since the rationalisation.

I’m a regular (or was) Byron visitor but it seems the food has gone downhill. Two of the burgers we ordered medium were totally well done and more like pub food burgers than a decent Honest or Byron burger. The chicken burger was very small and again, poor quality. Shame as quality burgers was what differentiated them from the more standard burger joints. Also seemed short staffed and hard to get hold of a waiter. Will think twice about going back. The food cannot be faulted even for vegetarians (the Haloumi Burger), and was very good and tasty. My friends had meat and they were also rather delighted. Service was quick and pleasant. The restaurant itself is big, modern and is actually great for conversation as the music isn't loud. What was a real let down was a male staff member (non-bearded) who held water glasses by the top end, the part your lips touch. That is unhygienic and he should have known better, its just plain common sense. Thats why I give it a 3.

My family and I were served by Sarah, who was second to none in her customer service. She seated us immediately and recommended the new Ruben burger to us (which we ordered) and quickly got us our drinks. She came over at least 5 times while we were eating, topping up our drinks and asking of we were enjoying the food. We have eaten at Byron's Central St Giles on numerous occasions and have always found the food to be excellent, but the level of care we received from Sarah prompted this review...she is truly a diamond in the service industry of London!

Popped in for something to eat before visiting the Shaftesbury Theatre for my husbands birthday. Seated quickly and given menus but nothing was said. We waited ages for someone to eventually come over (it wasn’t busy as there were 3 male staff talking in front of the pass for ages). I wondered if I was meant to go up somewhere to order as we hadn’t been before and it was taking a super long time. When a lady finally came over, she took our order… she wasn’t rude but no smile, no chat… nothing. Very transactional no interaction. My husband was wearing a birthday badge so an opportunity to at least say ‘happy birthday’ but nothing! When the food came it was really tasty and very hot. Finished... Voir le carte
