A warm welcome greeted us when we arrived with real fires in the bar and board games to play too.

Very good gastro pub with interesting menu choices. Monkfish was outstanding and desserts sublime. Get there early for dinner as later diners had very long wait for food

I visited the Bull Swan for some drinks while staying nearby. The bar has a wide selection of local cask ales and gins, and the beer garden is unique as it is set up like a kitchen garden with tables and seats made from flower borders. I had a pleasant time enjoying the sunshine for a few hours.

We arrived early so had a coffee while sorting out checking in. John (we think) was lovely and sorted everything out, our rooms were absolutely beautiful, the roll top bath was a fantastic bonus! The little extras in the room were really appreciated. Breakfast was lovely, all in all a great find, will definitely be back! Xx Voir le carte

After a small issue a few months ago, we decided to revisit this fantastic pub that we often go to. The food was fantastic and our waitress for the evening was exceptional. The venue is lovely and the staff are friendly. It is definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before. Thanks to Jill and her team for a great experience.

had a few nice pints from nene valley ales and beautiful sandwich lunch. the bar lady/waitress (he forgot the name, although I asked) was excellent. she managed the whole restaurant effortlessly and was over the beer and had a great handle at the place. there was another young waiter with whom we spoke, who was also engaged. I always liked the bull and swan and I recommend it to everyone else. we will be back

at the moment I sit in the bull and swan in stamford with breakfast. the personal is so friendly and the guest house is bursting with character. eating is exceptional and the accommodation is perfect in every sight. I have absolutely nothing to say. that's in some way critical. stamford is a very beautiful city and the bull and swan belongs to the hotel group that runs the william cecil hotel. the two accommodations are located directly next to the burghley estate, where the site of capability brown was created. this stunning parkland is accessible from the hotel and is fantastic for dog walkers. So when they visit stamford, then the bull and swan is the first place to try and book! Voir le carte
