"We came to Blackpool for a 2 night half term break with our daughter 6 yr old grandson, and we ate both nights at the Buccaneer Bar. The Bar is decorated beautifully, like a pirate galleon, we have been to Disneyland, Florida and it is on a par with anything that they do decoration wise. Staff were great! The food was yummy, especially the lamb, which fell off the bone. The price for meals was surprisingly good kids eat free which was an extra bonus. We would definitely recommend, would eat there again next time we are in Blackpool! Thank you!!"

We were seated quickly and the food arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the chicken lacked seasoning and the steak was very dry. The price we paid for lunch did not justify the quality of the meal.

We stopped for lunch here on our way to book into our hotel. It was a good atmosphere, but there were obviously a lot of children as they eat free which made it very loud. The food was served promptly and was average priced, but tasted lovely.

The staff is excellent, we were seated promptly and our food was brought out very quickly. I appreciate the fact that you order your food and drinks separately, which helps avoid any confusion and speeds up the order process. The food is delicious and the restaurant is very clean.

Came for tea and the food was amazing and the price for the food was well worth it, the atmosphere was great and the wait time was super fast and the bar staff were so friendly will definately come again, i had the lamb henry and my partner had the gamon, prortion sizes were excellent.

We popped in to have a refreshing drink and we were pleasantly surprised by our friendly welcoming. The pirate on duty try at day was fabulous and great with kids. Nothing was too much trouble. We had snack food and it was good and the atmosphere was brilliant. We will return. Thanks Jack

Go here every year for dinner twice in our 4 night stay. Love the atmosphere and food. Very organised, wait to be seated, order food at one counter and drinks at bar. Food arrived very quickly, hot and tasty. Combo sharing platter is our favourite. Staff very friendly. Only downside is they’ve taken jelly beans away from ice cream, my son’s been enjoying them for years!

We visited Blackpool for a family day out to see the illuminations and had lunch at The Buccaneer in Coral Island. Despite it being busy, we were seated right away. We quickly ordered our food and drinks, which arrived promptly and were excellent. The best part was that children under 10 eat for free with every paying adult, so our total bill for three adults and two children was only £46. This is great value and we highly recommend dining here.

Fantastic bar staff are friendly and helpful and the meals are absolutely beautiful. When looking at the menu thought they were a bit overpriced but when the meals came out to us we could understand. You get loads! Two of us had lasagne and it was absolutely gorgeous never tasted lasagne like it. One had the lamb shank which was thoroughly enjoyed the meat just fell off the bone. Brilliant food which did not take long to be served. Brilliant staff who were all friendly. I would highly recommend a visit.
