The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. There may be a bit of a wait sometimes, but I prefer that over sacrificing the quality of the meal.

This is a fantastic pub restaurant! The food is delicious and freshly prepared. There’s plenty of parking available, and a spacious outdoor seating area. It's conveniently located right next to the canal, and the staff are incredibly helpful.

had a fabulous mixed grill on Saturday night, followed by Mississippi mud pie, which was amazing. on Sunday morning, I had a full English plus on extras, i.e, obst, muffin, pancakes, baked and as much coffee as I could drink. the personal was also fantastic. well made bridge barn:

The service was excellent but delivery problems caused some items on the menu to be unavailable. That's the only reason for 3 stars. Our meals were nicely presented and delicious and I am certain you won't be disappointed. This Beefeater is picturesque, nicely converted from an old barn. Recommended.

Absolutely brilliant service from the excellent Katie B. What an excellent team member, because nothing was too much trouble. We had booked a table below, as one of our party has mobility problems, and Katy was so helpful and patient. We had a great meal, attentive service and a really good opportunity to enjoy a birthday meeting. Will we be back? No doubt. This visit the steaks were on site, must be said it is a bit hit or miss, as sometimes we go and his all great and other times food is returned as steak, not cooked to order or reduced quality of the meat, but we always come back. Staff is great, I think the server name is Sue we seem to have them all the time and she is great, more than helpful and friendly. Always top notch service fast and efficient and they dont rush you constantly like most places, so we have plenty of time to chat and enjoy meals without pestered.

Shambolic kitchen management, the restaurant was not particularly full but took 90 minutes from sitting down for our food to arrive. When my chicken melt did finally arrive, the chicken was dry, small and barely warm; the cheese congealed; and the chips, few. The 20 minutes spent under the heat lamp had left the coleslaw unpleasantly warm. My partner ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and it also spent 20 mins under the lamp, by which point it was more than well done. The rocket was wilted and inedible. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in recent years.

During this visit, the steaks were on point. However, I must mention that the experience can be a bit unpredictable; sometimes the food is excellent, while other times we have to send back our steaks because they aren't cooked as requested or the quality of the meat falls short. Despite that, we always return. The staff is wonderful, and our server, Sue, seems to always take care of us. She's incredibly friendly and helpful. The service is consistently top-notch—fast and efficient without making us feel rushed. We have plenty of time to chat and enjoy our meals without being constantly interrupted. Voir le carte
