"We have been here for a couple of times now, and in most of the cases everything was somehow neither good nor bad at all. When sitting outside, the weather let us forget the little things about the service, i.e. "it is not allowed to sit on this part of the terrace" or "sorry I forget your xyz" or "sorry that the xyz is cold - I will tell the kitchen". Last Sunday we went here and had the Rumpsteak for 24 EUR and the Pfännle for around 18 EUR - my steak was ok but not hot, the Pfännle was cold. We returned the Pfännle and asked for some extra heat or fire to get a hot meal. They gave it back with some extra hot sauce, but this hot sauce covered only a still frozen meal... lucky us, they never asked us if everything is ok after our first complains. So, to make a long story short: We were really annoyed about this and had a bad experience and afternoon for a little over 50 EURs (including 3 drinks). Usually I wouldn't complain here about this - but it happened now 3-4 times and they make a habit out of it: Every time they beg the one with the cold meal for sorry and offer him or her a coffee - while the others have to wait as they do not get a coffee for free OR have to buy a coffee so that the other person does not need to drink the coffee alone.So, Brauhaus 2.0 - here is an idea: Offer the whole table a free coffee, when you are not able to serve hot meals, as the whole table suffered from the one bad meal - this is what I would call Brauhaus 2.5 - or even better: simply serve hot meals -or- only salads and ice cream, which would make you almost immediately my Brauhaus 3.0."

The food is good (we tried the wiener schnitzel ; and spatzele with turkey and vegetables). And also the beer is very good (home made ????). Nice waitresses, agreable place.

Have been here a couple of times, the food is always fresh and tasty for its kind, the beer homebrewn and excellent. Can be a bit busy on warm days, but staff is friendly, youthful and service-minded

Nice place to be at with indoor and outdoor seating. The inside ambiance is god and have different varieties of beer - including latest natural beer. The food is good, portion fine and service quick. Overall a very good place with friends or family for a good beer

Brauhaus is an institution in Karlsruhe and Brauhaus 2.0 is the Knielingen suburb satellite. Cool location on an old building, great service, wonderful dishes and the very special Brauhaus Brew. Were there for lunch and it was great across the board.Would and will definitely go back there!

a really nice load. the housebread beer is really delicious, no matter whether weep or pils everything really good. the service is also very friendly and courteous and the location so outside carlsruhes also beautiful and attractive, especially in the sunset it is very nice here through the beautiful terrace. there are also various events with music. there are enough parking behind the local.

in the old officers mess of the US barracks. As soon as you enter you see the brewing facilities and the on premise made beers do not disappoint and is complimented by good food from the kitchen. A great place to have a few beers, good food or watch some sports on the wide screen (but better check whether they show your game or not). Cannot wait to check their beer garden once the weather improves.

great location and good to reach with the car. the brewhouse 2.0 in knielingen is especially recommended by the lunch card for those who want to eat something delicious at a reasonable price at midday. the roasted beer is very tasty. I can especially recommend the carvings and the cheese cookies that are served in a small piece in style. parking is available free of charge in front of the brewhouse. also for high times etc. they can rent the location as they have a large space there.

The beer was great - the food was run-of-the-mill for this kind of place - steaks, schnitzel, maultaschen (large German ravioli), sliced roast pork in beer gravy - but freshly prepared and reasonably priced. There are daily specials that venture a bit away from the usual fare. Service was a bit slow but they had only just opened up the outside seating area so I guess the staff were having to cover more tables. No doubt in the summer season they employ more people. Good for an after work meal with a beer.
