"Absolutely Bavarian and original, the Weihenstephaner Bräustüberl in Freising is a great meeting place for groups, families, friends or just a beer alone. Interesting in this is that beer comes not only from the barrel but is also produced on the right next door in the research center Weihenstephan for brewing and food quality. Super tasty what the guys (and girls produce there). Also tasty is the Obatzda who should have his birthplace right here. For me personally the most delicious I've ever eaten... Price/Guidance: Obazda with red onions and peasant bread costs 6.30€. In winter a mountain hat is offered outside. Very nicely furnished and mood as at ApresSki. ;"

Always worth a visit. Good Bavarian food, with and without service possible, large beer garden partially covered. Operation is on the move. All beers of the brewery can be processed. In the summer it can be quite crowded, it is also driven by buses.

Typical Bavarian restaurant. We were in Bräustüberl Weihenstephan with our very large family. Had a great place in the served beer garden area. We can only say that there was a successful visit from the beginning to the end! The services were very noticeable and fast (good with children! . The appetizer for everything together (to paint the trilogy was a big proposal of the operation, since everyone could already drink. The most important foods were all very nicely dressed and also tastefully delicious (as my family told me. Also the selection of dessert leaves no wish open! We can only recommend a visit to Bräustüberl Weihenstephan!!!

"Having read some positive reviews on Kathi’s, we decided to go. Upon arrival we were advised the restaurant was full and the only table available was within a small overflow area. Before taking in the surroundings, we accepted and sat down. We quickly realised the...area we were sat was the entrance to two shops and a bar?!! The shop windows were in need of a wash and the ambience was non existent. I absolutely adore steak and often cook in my own kitchen, I was really keen to try the special Bavarian steak. I’m a little confused as to why you would come to Bavaria and order meat from another country? There was many selections from other countries available. I should note that with a price tag of €39, my expectations were high. My husband ordered the burger. Our food arrived and cutting into my steak, it became obvious the meat was not cooked as ordered, I requested “medium”...the meat had not been rested either meaning the meat juices and blood were on my plate. I requested the waiter return to the kitchen for further cooking. Once my steak arrived back, it was cooked to my preference however still oozing meat juices on the plate. At home, my steak is rested for a minimum of 5 minutes to avoid this. The meat was nice and so too were the accompaniments, my husband reports his burger was tasteless and laden with various sauces, causing it to collapse with moisture. All in all, we would not return. A restaurant focusing on serving steak should have chefs who know how to successfully cook (and rest) this expensive cut of meat."
