Wow, what an amazing experience! The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The service started off very attentive but dropped off later on. We had to ask multiple times for some items. However, don't let this deter you from trying this restaurant.

We had a dinner before heading to the theatre. As we arrived slightly late, we did not have the time for the pre-theatre menu and ordered one main each. The food was great we had fish and vegetarian options, and the speed was impressive. The staff was attentive and wonderful. Very pleased.

Boyd's had a lovely ambience to it. Our female host was fantastic and very considerate of timings as we were going to the theatre. The food was superb, can't stop dreaming about the pork rib meat and the gnocchi dessert. We booked in for the pre-theatre menu which has sufficient choice and is excellent value. The service we received from checking in to leaving was exemplary. The staff were super-polite and extremely helpful. They were keen to understand when we were due at the theatre to ensure we were not late which was very much appreciated. Overall, it was a great meal and lovely experience.

We chose Boyds for a pre-theatre supper because of the “special” offer and because of its proximity to the Trafalgar Studios in Whitehall. The offer was each for courses. Our final bill came to including service charge. Where did all the extras come from? Wine by the glass was very expensive and pre-supper G T’s were each we only ordered single measures but let’s hope they were doubles! Service was very attentive a new member of the team went overboard to look after us. Our Mains were good but not delicious. My pudding was described as gnocchi but was more like dough balls filled with scalding hot cream about which there was no warning. Consequently, I burnt the roof of my mouth just before...

I visited in February The restaurant is well located close to Trafalgar Square with a striking interior of all marble. It looks the part, although they could do with updating their chairs. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff are attentive. We received a very friendly welcome as soon as we walked in. We opted for the pre-theatre course set menu. At this seems to be good value. We both had the rib croquette starter, this dish has potential but lacked any particular flavour and was rather dry. For the main, I had the rump steak and my girlfriend had the lamb chops. Unfortunately these were both very dry, the steak was more char grilled than anything else and the lamb was a little...
