Super convenient location for short trips to Tring/Berkhampstead/ Kings Langley. Room and bathroom on the spacious side with an air con. All a bit tired but clean plus excellent service. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Great accommodation, really lovely room and bathroom very clean. It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station and nice surrounding area plenty of places to eat drink. Nice continental breakfast and full English breakfasts are also available (maybe extra). Okay so this is a new experience for me, self check-in via phone, it works really well, just call up the number, they tell you which of the lodges you are in and hey presto the door is open. Rooms were clean and tidy, maybe a little dated, but at less than £70 per night (including a continental breakfast for 2) what can you say? Grounds were lovely and well kept, ample parking, and there's a couple of decent pub/restaurants nearby too. Breakfast was good, with a range of cereals, yoghurts, heaps of toast, croissants and fruit (there us a cooked option at extra cost) and the staff were really friendly. Really high quality accommodation here!! Perfectly situated for Warner Bros studios, as well as many other places of interest, with a cracking pub/restaurant just a few minutes ' walk down the road!! (The main road can be very congested at times, so walking there can be as quick as driving there!! The rooms here at Boxmoor are extremely comfortable, with Kingsize beds amply big enough to 'starfish ' in! A continental breakfast is offered as standard with a cooked upgrade available at additional cost, and these are very amply portioned and extremely well cooked, as my expanding waistline will attest to!!
