The restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with excellent service. While the prices are a bit high for the menu options, the quality of service makes up for it. Overall, I rate the food 4 out of 5, the service 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere 5 out of 5. I dined in for breakfast, and the cost per person ranged from £20 to £30.

I recently visited the new Boswell's Cafe in the town center and had a fantastic experience. I enjoyed a delicious bacon bap, which was cooked fresh and served hot. It was wonderful to eat and paired perfectly with a lovely mug of coffee. The service was outstanding, and the upstairs area offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town center. Amazing food, very friendly and polite staff . Lovely warm atmosphere, definitely worth coming in for an amazing all day breakfast and a nice warm cuppa on a cold winter and dreary day in Town centre. Kid-friendliness: Very open layout , easy to manoeuvre double buggy in . Space for children in a safe environment (not cramped) Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors to allow wheelchair access, staff friendly and very available to help

I highly recommend trying the Boswell Club Sandwich—it's a must-have dish!

Agree with previous reviews, saw someone mention on social media today about an issue here with the service and food and I agree. The place has gone downhill since it moved. The venue itself is nicely done (although very chaotic and noisy downstairs), but food is poor. Their all day breakfast has tough bacon, the worst fried eggs I have ever had, the back of them is like they have a sheet of plastic glued to them!!?? Their chilli and chips used to be nice, but tried it recently and got about a table spoon of chilli! Really dry and very stingy on the portion.
