Just booked on off chance very friendly service spot on food excellent . Unfortunately a table near us had drunk a little too much and became very loud other than that great place to eat.

I had lunch with my daughter at this restaurant and it had a very nice atmosphere. The portion sizes were large and plentiful, I couldn't finish my meal. The staff was polite and friendly.

Had lovely meal with friends. We were late arriving and this was no trouble at all for the staff. Service was good and prompt and the food lovely. We particularity like the scotch egg starter and cocktails.

A lovely evening for my daughters 16th. Although there were only 2 waiting staff at one point they were behind the bar too service was excellent. Thank you for a lovely evening. Oh and compliments to the chef!

I love this restaurant! The atmosphere is great with beautiful furniture, and the food is delicious. This is my third visit to Folkestone, and I always make sure to stop by for a meal on a Saturday during the weekend.

My wife and I had dinner on Friday night. I must say, the two bottles of Barolo were excellent. However, the steak was very gristly. We probably won't be returning for a while. The service was good though, and we did receive a 10% discount on the bill. Overall, the experience somewhat ruined our rare night out.

The food was well presented and very good. I would prefer more choice for vegetarian diners. The only criticism I have is that the service was slow although the waiting staff were extremely busy. We came on a Saturday evening and definitely the restaurant needed more staff. We had to ask for a dessert menu and the coffee showed up before the dessert, which is always a problem.

Restaurant was good overall. We were seated next to a large party celebrating a Birthday and so that always means you get a slightly skewed view of things as you deal with the impact of the larger party"s behaviour. Food was good, well presented. My son ordered a salad that Included watermelon but was disappointed that it had been chargrilled and was slightly warm! My only negative point about my food was that the lemon posset I had for pudding was very well set, making it quite cloying; I had hoped for a softer textured version. Otherwise we had a lovely meal.

This is a Great Restaurant, and this is the Third Time I have been here to eat. the menu has changed a little and there is only one chicken dish that is marinated in Chile and No Fish Opt for Main meal other than a Fish Pie, the staff were a bit slow with the orders and on bringing our drinks after taking the order, had to ask for our drinks. its a shame that I have to write this negative feedback, we booked our table for 08:45 and last orders for food was 21:30, seemed a bit rushed towards the end where we declined the Desert or Coffee as it seemed they were in a rush to get everything cleared. Don't let the good work that you have prided yourselves on start to slip. Hope that this a one of...
