"I always like to look for an Indian while we’re away on holiday as my wife can usually enjoy many gluten-free options with Indian restaurants. I had done my homework prior to leaving the Uk and seen that this place had decent reviews which didn’t...disappoint. I had butter chicken with a garlic naan bread and my wife had mango chicken, with a glass of red win (Cabernet Sauvignon lovely) and a white wine Pinot Grigio ok, and a pint of beer. The meals and the drinks were lovely and the price was about €56. Service was quite quick and pleasant The only slight negative was after asking for the bill, we didn’t actually get one, just told how much it was, which we find a little strange, however we wouldn’t complain unless it was way out of order price wise, which it wasn’t!"

"eating was great every time. we had burger, pizza, salate. all around in good quality with well selected products and not everyday combinations. the pizzas are very large, but with thin, crispy and tasty teig. the burger tastes fresh and is lush, the pommes are very tasty. tasty sauce on the burger, a lot of salad and tomate. with ketchup and majonäse without price and without limit. even the drink selection is special and great! every time you can try something else, so it never gets boring. the price-performance ratio is perfect. Special wishes are implemented without problems.The personal was always extremely striving, very fast and attentive.Every request was met. great team! the chef serves with and spreads such a friendly and good mood. Top! We'd go back here and again. from 7 days of vacation, we were here 3 times and have traveled extra with the car, because we really liked it.The load from the inside has unfortunately come to the days. there could be the one or other uncomfortable bank exchanged. for this you can open the windows generously on warm days, so you almost think that you sit outside.The terrace is great and you have a great view of the hops lake.Gerne over and over again! big praise to this restaurant."

"we were there for dinner after we had visited the nearby castles. the place is very popular and there were many people inside and outside. it was a very warm day and it was too hot and sticky to sit, so we took a table in the garden behind the restaurant (there are also sitting on the square in front of the square). eating was very good, we had some noodle dishes. the service was nice and fast. prices are average. it is a good restaurant for lunch or dinner."

"We know Alatsee as a walking destination and decided this year to stay at the hotel by the lake as a centre for more walking and perhaps some nature. Booking was through Booking.com and straightforward. We decided on a minisuite for extra room and comfort...should the weather not cooperate. but it did so that was even nicer. The Suite consisted of a sitting room/lounge attached to a bedroom area and bathroom. All was very comfortable and agreeable. Sadly the room was at the back so there was neither much of a view and indeed no balcony for sitting out. I found that rather surprising and wonder if we had an inferior' room. But the place was pleasant enough, the welcome warm and the services all worked. It was nice to be able to take walks straight from the Hotel instead of driving anywhere and after the day visits had ended we had the lake area almost to ourselves. Breakfasts was the usual germanic buffet of cereals, cold meats and cheeses with juice and yoghurt. The service was excellent and indeed the staff actually prepared soft boiled eggs to order and timed to perfection which made a welcome change to the usual hard boiled offerings usually available. A real find for the british palette. What we found most odd was that despite being an excellent restaurant last orders for dinner was as early as 17.00. We are not habitual late diners but felt this was rather strange particularly as we were resident in the place. The place seemed to close up around 18.00 as staff left for home so I don't even know if the bar remained open later. As we had a mini apartment /suite we could of course have our own post prandial drinks in the evening but wonder how guests in smaller rooms fared."

"unfortunately disappointing. due to the good reviews we decided on this restaurant. we got a table in the backyard. here are many walkers on the way to the city. the waiters are nice, but completely overwhelmed. you get a feeling of dimensional and unrest. the food and the drinks came very fast. my man had the baked aubergine. she was unworn and the portion was much too small. I had a nut in a saffron sauce. Unfortunately, in my soße there was no saffron. she was neither yellowish, nor could we taste it. Instead, it was a simple cream sauce with fresh dill. I have, of course, complained and was unfriendlyly pointed out that saffron has no taste. I have, of course, taken away from it and my food was taken along. shortly later it came back with the commentary of the waitress they had done twice as much saffron in my court and behold, the noodles were yellow and the saffron was too tasteful. unfortunately it was simply mixed in the cream sauce and I had my noble saffron noodles with dill. I didn't want to talk again. we have paid the bill which we think has been significantly overpriced and have gone unsaturated and annoyed. I cannot recommend!"
