"We found the restaurant off the beaten track when looking for a light lunch. We don’t speak fluent Italian but managed to decipher what was on the menu and the prices listed appeared reasonable. We ordered, eventually, after a long wait, a tiny portion of local cheese, ham and bread was brought, much less and of a poorer in quality than we had for our 5 Euro hotel breakfast. We ate the very meagre offerings then asked for the bill but instead more small plates arrived, these being even less appetising than the previous. After asking for the bill once more we were told to wait whilst the owner decided how much to charge. We were then charged an unbelievable 80 euros for a tiny amount of poorly presented and prepared food. Until we read the other reviews of the place we assumed that we had been “taken for a ride” by the owner and made a fool of just because we are English and don’t speak Italian; in fact, this treatment at Due Nani seems to be quite common amongst all visitors, even fellow Italians In the UK it would be out of business very quickly. The “cowboys” who run it do Italy and their fellow countrymen a disservice by giving visitors such a bad experience. By a very large margin this was the worst restaurant we a visited in Italy over seven days; Shame on you Due Nani"

"Veramente scandaloso. Abbiamo pagato 70 euro con una qualità che a memoria non ricordavo più... Ci hanno portato qui le recensioni molto fuorvianti riportate su Trip advisor che, rispetto alla media di Ariano, indicavano almeno un locale dove la genuinità e il km zero la facevano da padrone... Mai scelta peggiore, da 3 decenni giro in lungo e largo l 'Italia, l ' Europa, il mondo ... Ebbene dovevo arrivare ad Ariano Irpino per trovare il nulla cosmico. E non ha nulla a che vedere con il conto: pagare 70 euro (2 adulti e due bimbi è la sola buona notizia. Avrei pagato il doppio pur di non assistere allo scempio delle più elementari basi culinarie: pasta scotta, che navigava sul brodo di cottura, bimbo che trova nel ragu pezzi di osso, sugo maleodorante, presentazione a dir poco imbarazzante (sugo a mo ' di spruzzata di neve sulla pasta bianco latte, che ancora rabbrividisco ... Antipasto regolare, ma tanto era fatto da cold cuts ... Vino della casa imbarazzante tanto che abbiamo dovuto ordinare una bottiglia imbottigliata (e non so cos 'era peggio ... Lasciamo tutto (tutto! tranne l 'antipasto curandoci pure di non mettere in imbarazzo il proprietario... Che alla fine scopriamo che ci fa pagare 4 antipasti (invece di 2 . Ma ripeto, ne avrei pagato 8 ..se il cibo avesse avuto la parvenza della decenza. Io dopo di questo non so che altro vedere. The lowest rate ever. Never ever stop by, instead let yourselves be starved softly ...(many more chances to survive . Sono genuinamente preoccupato per i locali che, in mancanza di alternative, lo incensano come fosse uno stellato... Abbiate il coraggio di liberarvi. E ' un augurio di cuore."

"the impact as soon as you get to the donald is remarkable: the building in which it is located is elegant, maintained with large windows that allow to see the interiors in light wood that always give a casual and welcoming effect that I appreciate very much and that I think of good goto, as is the whole room also internally, with small relics scattered along the walls, tables and tidy seats, cared and beautiful. the menu is fully digitized and has a long list of sandwiches where the burger is always present. among the sandwiches that I preferred there is the Denver-Californiano (hamburger-bacon-forming-cipolle in agrodolce), the cleveland (hamburger-bacon-forming-grain of hazelnuts), the toto' ( pistachio cream) but the list is long. the sandwiches cost almost all price rather right (the sandwiches are great) but there is a sandwich that more ' than good I would define in the medium long list also of chips where to change is not the patatina that is always the usual but the ingredient accompanying, a portion I would say that it is not exaggerated but altino as price. have very little choice of beer, stout (the guinness) and clear (keller) then soft drinks. sandwiches with burgers go on the beers around the so on average you can spend on your head. the service is excellent, very digitized and modern but all the staff is really kind and polite, which is undoubtedly a note of merit. In summary it is a place that excels in the location and service but does not do as well in the tasty menu, the sandwiches are good but as they can be good in hundreds of other locals, I dare say that it is the perfect opposite of good food of grottominarda, a place with a service decidedly poor but with a sandwich that makes you dream."

"Un luogo incantevole (o incantato? curato nei dettagli. I murales, in particolare quello dell'anziano alla finestra (cfr. foto da la sensazione di essere all'aperto, in un cortile, pur se si è dentro il locale. Si ha la sensazione di essere stati trasportati in una fiaba. Si aggiunga che c'è un menù molto originale, con accurati e variegati panini, contorni e sfizi eccellenti, preparati con accorta scelta delle materie prime ed una combinazione di ingredienti e sapori unici. Un solo esempio: sentire il sapore e la fragranza delle patate e degli altri ingredienti nei crocchè. Tantissimi diversi tipi di panini, tantissimi diversi tipi di patatine, tantissime diverse birre italiane ed estere. La birra alla spina austriaca eccellente ... e, sorpresa finale, tantissimi tipi di cheesecake, preparati con cura ed amore, con un delicatissimo ed avvolgente formaggio fresco avvolto, a scelta, da Nutella, cioccolato bianco, pistacchio, ecc. ecc.. Risorse umane: gentili e, nel contempo, professionali. Tempi di attesa: brevi. Rapporto qualità/prezzo: eccellente."
