4 different dishes, all fantastic. Would definitely hit this spot again. Small place with street parking. Prices right on for the portions.

I always suggest Bhan Thai when I am asked to choose somewhere to meet friends for a catch up. The food is excellent and authentic and feel like a regular.

With the two of us to Bhan Thai on a Saturday evening. We had a platter of starters between the two of us followed by a massaman curry and a laksa. Nice atmosphere, great food and definitely one of the better of not the best Thai restaurants in Aberdeen.

NEVER coming back again. We reserved a table by phone for 5pm,when we came, restaurant still closed because opening time is 5.30pm Ordered a starter sea food palate for 2 persons £19.00 and 2 small beers 330ml. When we saw what is in a starter, we cancelled main course, paid £26.60 and ran away from here to other Thai restaurant

We had a fantastic evening here on a Sunday evening. Only 1 star off for ambience as we were the only group in which is surprising as the food was delicious and the staff very pleasant. Four of us all enjoyed our meal and the mixed sharing platter was a hit with everyone. Reasonable prices too. Such a shame it was so quiet hope more people support this authentic Thai restaurant. I was in Aberdeen for business and felt like Thai for dinner. I Googled for suggestions and Bhan Thai was close tp both my office and hotel. I had no particular expectations but what a hidden gem this little family owned and run restaurant is! My meal was simply superb, and I shall cerainly return at the first available opportunity. If I were an Aberdonian I would certainly be a regular. So, if you live, or are spending time in, Aberdeen be sure to visit Bhan Thai; you shan't be disappointed.

Revisited Bhan Thai after quite a while, we were going to the other Thai restaurants instead. I can categorically say the food in bhan thai is much, much better than all the others. Where others’ starter platters give the impression their items are bought in, there’s no doubt Bhan Thai’s are made there. Deep and succulent prawn toast, amazing ribs, superb chicken skewers. Their Thai fish cakes are as good as it gets too. The main courses were excellent, massaman curry and jungle curry being highlights. Beef salad to die for. The wine list is limited, with only two choices of red, but the prices are very reasonable at £19 for either choice. I checked online and the Merlot is £11.99 to buy, so...

This is a little hidden gem, worth seeking out. The entrance is somewhat hidden on Rose Street. It's overshadowed sign wise by the Shahbaaz on it's left and Marmaris on it's right. Look out for a beautiful Buddha statue in the entrance then follow the golden staircase to a special little piece of Thailand. First of all we were met by a charming hostess who showed us to our table. The table was dressed in a pretty Thai print tablecloth, real flowers and a flickering candle. We had Spicy beef salad which we shared as a starter. It was so tasty with just the right amount of heat and cooked medium rare to perfection.
