"Ederkanzel, super Location wenn man denn hoch kommt :)Ist schon ein Aufstieg für Flachlandtiroler.Man kann dort oben wirklich preiswert und gut essen. Der Service ist bodenständig und liebenswert. Dazu ein Ausblick der seines gleichen sucht.Ich freu mich auf den nächsten Besuch.(Translated by Google)Ederkanzel, great location if you come up :)It's quite a climb for lowland Tyroleans. You can eat really cheaply and well up there. The service is down to earth and lovely. In addition, a view that is unparalleled.I'm looking forward to the next visit."

Our teenagers and us year old parents hiked up from Mittenwald. We arrived to glorious views and great radlers and Bavarian food. Memories for a lifetime. And the hike wasn't all that bad if you are in decent shape. Voir le carte

The terrace is in Austria , The indoor resto is in Germany . The border is marked by the stone marker see photo Great View , good Bavarian Austrian cuisine , friendly service . You can even have home grown turkey...and chicken in the late fall or Christmas time .

Situated at metres high, the German/Austrian border runs through the south facing terrace! It's about an hour's steep walk up through the trees from Mittenwald, but well worth the effort. Stunning views south into Austria in brilliant sunshine, and a pleasant welcome. We enjoyed...a well deserved' lunch with beer, feeling on top if the world'! Highly recommended!

Schöne Aussicht, die Freundlichkeit der Bedienung lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben, trotz Nachfrage, keine Speisekarte erhalten mit der Begründung, dass das Essen ohnehin 1 Stunde bräuchte?(Translated by Google)Nice view, but the friendliness of the service left a lot to be desired. Despite asking, we didn't receive a menu on the grounds that the food would take 1 hour anyway? Voir le carte

We walked up Austrian route from the car park start to the Leutascher Geisterklamm after we had walked the gorge. Not to difficult a walk slipping back and forwards over the German/Austrian borders. The Ederkanzel has a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and...valleys. The drinks were about the norm and the home made cakes were fantastic. We then walked down the supply road to Lautersee lake to finish the day. Great days walking.

Nice view. However, the service employee is planned and overwhelmed. The food was a disaster. The meat cheese came from the frit (otherwise the uniform tan cannot be explained), the noodles were cooked, etc. Besides, the kitchen staff was completely scared. This doesn't happen and is more like a case for the Health Office. Last but not least, the waiter wanted to pay us more drinks than ordered (not only with us). That was the first and last time for us.

"we visited the market restaurant for the first time and tried to eat here every later visit. we were not always successful because we were not sufficiently reserved in advance. I have reserved for our lunch today, and it would seem that lunch is a little easier to get a reservation. when we entered into us, we spent our entire walk in our apartment and talked about every single court we had in our four-course lunch. everyone was spectacular. the chef combines ingredients, aromas, textures and even article temperatures in a way that I had rarely experienced. my wife and I live in the san francisco bay area, and there are several restaurants that are listed michelin, and some that have stars. none of our local places are these innovative when it comes to bringing together courts. during our current visit, we decided again for the four-course lunch. the small starter who came before these four curses was remarkably tasty and playful in his presentation. it was another example for the clever use of contrasting textures and aromen in the construction of aligned. from the four curses that followed, the cortex tars was our favorite, and a beautiful representation of what I say. I had bark tars in many restaurants and in several countries. I never had one that was as vague as the one in the market restaurant. Sometimes you hear a combination, say for example ahi tartare and shaved white chocolate, and you could say that this would never work, but you would be wrong. this court I had in paris was an eye opener. the tartaric acid on the market has a similar character. the bark was in a “cloth” based on buttermilk, and the mild killing of buttermilk was irritable with the bark. it had a senfeis upstairs! how could that work? we loved it. there was a crispy mustard crumb. on the side of the bark were small amounts of liquid lemon cured. there were so many things that went before themselves in a court, and if there are so many things, you fear that they will not intercept. that was not the case here. I thought it was just brilliant. we also enjoyed our other courses very much. everyone had similar clever and delicious elements. we had a wonderful lunch. I will say if they are on a budget and travel with the family, this cannot be the best for them. I don't eat like that every day. if they are looking for an extravagant, exquisite meal that will be the culinary highlight of their visit, then they will go to the market restaurant. my wife and I often eat out, and among the highly valued restaurants closer to home is a michelin three-star restaurant that we dine. if I would compare market restaurant with this restaurant, I would rather only have a meal in the market restaurant than ten meals in the three-star restaurant, and that would be true if they were all paid by someone. the service is professional, but unpretentious, attentive, but not intrusive. the courts are innovate, but work. it's just a great culinary experience. next time we visit the middle of the forest, we will be sure to visit the restaurant again. our meals were simply amazing. I hope they can try the restaurant and enjoy it as much as we do. it's a bit pampered, but I don't know a place in the san francisco bay area I'm excited about."
