Berber & Q - Carte

I went there thanks to the recommendation of a friend and I wasn’t disappointed ! The food was quite tasty, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was charming. Portions are quite generous so if you're not that hungry or if you have little appetite do not take a side with your dish.

Vibes, great cocktails, delicious food! In my opinion this restaurant is an East London institution. There's been a lot happening since they opened in Hackney in 2015. I've seen many places coming and going but Berber Q is still there...Smooth service and happy faces all round. Keep it up!

Absolutely delicious Middle Eastern food. Everything was so flavourful and fresh, every course we ordered was really tasty. The service was really good, all the staff were so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the place was really nice and the interiors. Would definitely come back and recommend Delicious Voir le carte

We had a lovely night at Berber Q! I must say though, although some dishes were really good, some weren’t “worth it” for their price. I highly recommend getting the mezzes (the hummous with lamb ragu and labneh were excellent and lamb neck meshoui, but both the mackerel and short rib tagine were quite small (although very good in taste! .

My Daughter took me for a surprise meal here. The music was loud. I found the wooden bench seating uncomfortable but I did enjoy the overall experience food. Personally I think not much choice for mains a little expensive, especially the sides drinks. No Coke etc on menu. The seating was also close together. Both meals came out on a sharing platter.

we had a really delicious dinner in berber and q. we were looking for a something funky restaurant with a good atmosphere and we found it in any case. the staff was very attentive and eating was great! the only reason I didn't have 5 stars...was because there was a relatiw small amount of food for the price. that said eating was really delicious. the cauliflower and the pork bell were highlights! A banger of a meal last night at @berberandq. I’ve had this on my list to visit for years and had to cancel a couple of times. For starters we had the Labnah, Baba Ganoush pulled lamb bun. Mains were lamb mechoui, burnt aubergine with sides of charred beets blackened sweet potato. All were very flavoursome and delicious. A nice fusion of flavours. Staff were good if a little rushed. Acoustics were a bit noisy but in a brickwork arch this is to be expected.

Tasty Middle Eastern food, really cosy and intimate candlelight restaurant. It can get quite loud due to the layout of the store (arches, tables too close to each other). Good cocktails too. Relatively quick service. It is also quite dear. Busier at the weekends compared to weekday evenings. Waiting staff not the friendliest but professional. Overall it was a positive experience. There’s wheelchair accessible ramp at the entrance but unsure how a wheelchair could fit in. Toilets are decent.

normally I write no bad criticism, I am definitiw not a grief and not hard to be satisfied as I have worked in the hospitality industry most of my life and I always know how to close an eye on small dinge and flaws. I. and my partner booked a table for brunch and we were so impressed by the Eastern European food card and the atmosphere was very asking. we have received 2 massive bowls of foods that would not fit on the table and the waitress expected us to do something about it, as it is obvious that it would not fit on a small table, we pulled the drinks on the next table and that is okay still very happy and not let the details go. while we start eating, we realize that every tablet 2 of e...
