"A nice, family restaurant that produces normal Lebanese food. Nothing out of the ordinary but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless and service was very good. It’s suitable for all the family kids too as there’s no alcohol and no shisha. The mezze selection was quite nice but I feel overpriced at £20 for the smallest plate and contains only the basic items (hummus, baba ghanoush, mutabbel, tabbouleh, wara inab, felafel and the strangest muhammara I’ve tasted in quite some time. Personally I didn’t like the look of the buffet (all hot items with a lot of meat and no mezze selection so I ordered a la carte instead. Buffet was £12.99 for adults, £6.99 for kids 5 10 I think and free for under 5’s. I’d definitely return but don’t expect anything really amazing here."

Seven of us were hungry on a Saturday afternoon, near the curry mile, and were undecided on where to eat.

Really great food. Comfortable seating. A big restaurant. The toilets were upstairs and not the cleanest. Please note this. A buffet was advertised, but was not available this day.

The couscous (Vege) tagine and chicken Sharwma were good! Although I was hoping the Vege tagine was served in a tagine... Price wise, it can be quite pricey for students depending on what you order. The portion is filling for the price you pay.

"The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing. The Mansaf dish was particularly delicious. The restaurant is spacious and there is parking in the back, which is a bonus. They also offer a buffet option that we look forward to trying next time." Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I tried two different vegetarian main courses during my two visits and enjoyed both the flavors and the ability to customize the dish to my liking. The Hello Friedmi dish was particularly delicious. The customer service from the staff and owners was also outstanding. I will definitely be returning for another visit. This restaurant is a must-visit on Curry Mile - you won't want to miss out on this unique taste experience.

I was there to break fasting and I just fell in love with this place! The name changed even though he's Jafra now. Each member of the staff is lovable and was on the point, even considering that it was extremely busy. It was a nice buffet and the food was really nice. Very surprising, It is the only place in Manchester I found that a contract I have believed (without having to do it yourself, as it takes time lol! Only North Africans (algerically eat more accurately during this time of the year). If we do not have that treat ramadan does not feel the same

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
