"Beautiful view, but not always good visibility, as today, unfortunately. But otherwise very nice restaurant with large terrace. But if you sit on the terrace at the back in the corner, it can be that you have to wait almost half an hour until you get served. But after that it goes fast with food and drink. Speaking of eating, I had 1/4 duck with red cabbage and late zle, that was actually, according to my taste, not bad, only the red cabbage floated in their own sauce and the late zle were not made themselves. The duck was good, and the price was fine. The service was endeavored and friendly. All in all, I can still recommend the restaurant, just because of the view..."

Delicious food, friendly and courteous service. You can explore the view through your own ascent, but also drive to the restaurant by car. Unfortunately, when we were there yesterday, the view was not shown because of clouds and rain weather :

One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful panoramic view in Bavaria. As an extra bonus then this great restaurant. There are delicious homemade cakes and regional delicacies. The staff is friendly and helpful. We always like to come here. Voir le carte

It was really nice on the terrace. From here, you have the feeling to see the whole world. The service was very friendly!!! Cappuccino, hot chocolate, Kaiserschmarrn and Fledlesuppet were fresh and also delicious. You can definitely turn in and breathe through.

Very nice outing place with terrace and large view. I didn't eat warm (it smelled tempting), but the cake was also very good. The service was extremely friendly, fast and courteous, although in the afternoon the terrace was fully occupied in the best weather. For this a great praise to the young men in service. I like to come back!

A beautiful place to enjoy...optical and culinary. Hohenpeißenberg is a great destination for our motor tours and a must every year! You sit on the terrace and have a view of the gigantic at any time of year...and a piece of homemade cake, an emperor'n, which is excellent and a coffee and I am happy. During each visit we were served super, even though there are always many visitors walking. Parking is in front of the restaurant. Voir le carte

For me one if not the most beautiful terrace I know. The view is wonderful, not in vain the “Bayerische Rigi” is considered one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in Bavaria, and the coffee is very good (his wife I personally found the cyclist super: . If you spend a little more time, you can still look at the beautiful pilgrimage church or the Meteorological Observatory Hohenpeißenberg (oldest mountain weather in the world).

Today we were invited to dinner at the Bavarian Rigi. The sun seemed so beautiful, which can make it different from driving here, grandiose views. Our service was friendly and fast though much was going. The food was served in the warm plate. A puppy plague made me nervous as I had our little dog, another friendly service had all the hands full to do, to remove the wasps carefully, and with a spice ensured you rest. All measures to coronavirus were adhered to,even a scan with the phone allows to read the data, instead of writing. The wasps were attracted by put jam and honey from breakfast.

"Peißenberg is located at the transition of the pre-land molasses to the wrinkle molasses; so everything is said about this place, what you need to know : And even today there would have been no reason for me to visit if we had not driven us in the truest sense of the word of hunger. The mosss mill in Huglfing, the Schatzl and I had planned for a lunch, had a rest day. And so we decided to continue the road until we reach a place. And that was then the Gasthof Zur Post in Peißenberg. Located directly on the main road, not to overlook. Right next to the house a large parking lot. The entrance leads into a long hallway, right on the left, into the guest room. With tiredness and hardship we had a free table opposite the counter. Hope germinated in me when it's so full here, then they have to cook!! The menu turned out to be a welded DIN A 4 sheet with pretty much everything a Bavarian heart desires. Of course, the pancake soup does not lack € 3,10 , thanks to the allergy regulation provided with the number 5. Looking on the map, what is the 5th Aha, flavor enhancers....But that didn't scare me, she had to order everything under control in the fleeting operation despite great urge. Then please the spinach dumplings with decomposed butter, fresh parmesan and salad set € 7.90 . Sweetheart chose the “Tagesrenner”, consisting of roasted soup, pork loaf grilled with herbal butter, fries and salad, cappuccino at € 7.90. Against thirst a big special and a Johannisbeer choir both 0.5 to € 3,10. “An Salod derft’s Eich seiber hoin” told us the operation and pointed towards Theke. There we had already discovered the salad bar when entering the room. And because we're just in the room. We felt like we had been catapulted back into the good old time. Such inns may exist more often in the country, not in Garmisch. Long simple tables, a crucifix on the wall, and if now the operation would not have taken a black and white carded mini skirt, but a dirndl, one could have turned a scene here for a ganghofer film without a big change. Back to the topic, the soup comes. Wonderfully thin sliced pancake strips with me, thick brittles with sweetheart in soup, fresh greenware over it. “And?” I wanted to know from my noise “Where is the flavor enhancer?” it came back dry. True, the broth tasted homemade, might have been a bit stronger, but otherwise – basst scho! “Do you want a salad too?” No, he doesn't. So I go to the buffet alone and find the usual suspects. Mix me a portion of some leaf salad, carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes and try to guess what dressing is in the carafes. Take that, the closest to a yogurt dressing. Then the main course comes and it asks me why I should get a salad at the buffet. The “Salatgarnitur” which was mentioned on the menu was a murderer’s portion, where the two spinach dumplings were almost something. Then they did, but not because of the salad, but because a mountain of Parmesan did not give them a chance. At the salad the cook had really extinct, great were the pumpkin and pine kernels, less super I found the fruity dressing tipped my yogurt dressing from the buffet over. A true dream was the dumplings. Gently loose, juicy and well tasted. They can't do that better in South Tyrol, where these dumplings come from. And what does Schatzl say to his lend? Nothing, he enjoys and leaves nix. While the cappuccino is being served, I'm heading for toilets. Barrier-free, clean, but a wild color mix – there would have been a style adviser good to do; Conclusion: Rarely it cost me so great overcoming to take photos. I didn't dare to go over to the side table, where we were observed by VERY eye pairs. Apart from that, we felt so bad. Everything was said to eat, guad was it! The prices? Unbeatable at the time of the day, otherwise not a big difference to Garmisch. Service? Bayish rustic nice cleanser? And how"
