"We went in to eat dinner based on other reviews. It was nothing special. I don’t normally review foreign restaurants because our expectations on food quality and taste aren’t always the same. In this case I’m making an exception. The service was very slow. My husband ordered pork chops and I ordered a burger. He got a side dish of vegetables when my meal arrived. We waited to see if his chops were forthcoming and finally asked about them after a few minutes. 10 minutes later a plate showed up with ribs on it. He did say it was a decent taste even though still not the right dish. My burger had a lot of gristle in it. All in all, a disappointment. We’ve been in Italy for over a month and this was by far one of the worst meals."

Their pasta alla norma was the best one I had during Sicily trip. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. I strongly recommend!

Very good Italian good. We tried pasta and ravioli and both dishes were very good. House wine also was good. Very reasonable prices.

This restaurant is located close to the cathedral on Via M. Coffa. A bit har to find but worth it. Excellent service and very good food. I recommend it.

excellent and plentiful fish dishes at a price more than honest only stonata note we asked three mojito and to wait to bring the first instead it all arrived together.

Our dinner at this restaurant was a very nice experience. The seafood antipasto was mixed with mussels, langoustines, shrimps and other seafood. The presentation was also superb. I cannot not mention the pepata di cozze and the sword fish alla Siciliana.

the restaurant is purely touristic, located in a street full of other tourist restaurants. no doubt good, but nothing special. I'd come back if I didn't have any other options. average quality, nice and well organized place, good staff. Would I recommend it? No, but yes if you do not have great claims.

We were drawn to this restaurant as we couldn’t get in the one we had originally intended and this was packed. After sitting down we realised that no one in the restaurant was Italian which set off some warning bells. We had the house wine which I wouldn’t recommend and pasta followed by fish and prawns. The pasta was not as good as others we’ve tried in the area and the prawns definitely not fresh.

Near the Cathedral, this is an inexpensive nice little trattoria with a friendly service and decent pasta and other dishes served competently and quickly. I had the pasta al astiche of the day with a half lobster perched alongside the homemade tomato spaghetti for €23 and a generous starter plate with various cheeses, salami, olives etc for €8, in excellent and freshly cut quality. Pleasant airconditioned indoor dining room and table outside too. Make sure to mention any allergies when ordering.

"Abbiamo prenotato per cena in questo piccolo ristorante non lontano dal corso principale di Ragusa Ibla. Vorremmo conoscere la cucina tipica della Sicilia meridionale e Ragusana in primo luogo come mai assaggiata. Abbiamo mangiato nella terrazza sulla strada di fronte al posto. Personalmente ho apprezzato la posizione come tipicamente immerso nel villaggio e mai troppo esposto al traffico; voi e non visite indesiderate ma mai troppo invadente sono stati dati da alcuni gattini attratti dal profumo ma, sottolineato, per me è stato un valore aggiunto in quanto ha reso l'esperienza più autentica e divertente. I piatti offerti nel menù rispettano i nostri criteri di ricerca: tipicità e identità regionale messi in primo luogo. Abbiamo assaggiato antipasti con formaggio locale, olive e pomodori secchi (e anche altre cose se non erro) che era molto caratteristico e forte. Le carni erano molto buone come le marmellate portate ad accompagnare il formaggio e altre cose. Il primo piatto, una pasta ragusano di pesce, aveva luci e ombre: decisamente grande profumo ma non mi piaceva il tipo di pasta, mi sarei aspettato più una lunga pasta. Inoltre l'uso di sale e pepe nero era davvero eccessivo e, state attenti, amo mangiare con condimenti ben percepiti e abbondanti. Diciamo che tale super abbondanza di sale e sapone in generale è stato trovato anche nell'antipasto tipico con formaggio locale preparato con altri prodotti in una sorta di focaccia (ma in quel caso la porzione era piccola e era stata anticipata dal personale che era tipicamente così forte). È infatti che la pasta tanto attesa e agonizzata non soddisfa le grandi aspettative che avevamo. Non lo riprenderei. La carne è stata elogiata dai commensali sia per la qualità che per la cottura. Ottimo servizio, senza lode e senza infamia. Sicuramente si difende bene, ma per la prossima volta cercherò altrove e farò i necessari ricontri."
