As an American, the food here was so different from any Sichuan food I've ever had that it's hard to know how to rate this place.

My girlfriend booked the table to show my sons authentic Sichuan cooking from her home Chinese province. We were thrilled by the culinary experience that was provided to us and would definitely return. The restaurant is just a short stroll from China Town and definitely worth the walk.

my absolute favourite restaurant in Great Britain! as a veggie of 30 years I find Chinese eating is almost always subduing. barshu is always a lot of Chinese ppl in there, a safe sign of authenticity. the dishes are perfectly seasoned I aim to eat there every time I come to london if all possible. just delicious! the head office of the cooker:P

we were told about the family barshu who lived in london, who said it is the best restaurant for Chinese cuisine. I have to agree. we wanted to celebrate our 10th annual day and it was totally amazing, eating was just beautiful so tasteful and the portions were plentiful. service was also excellent. it would be highly recommended. we'll be back. although we were led to another type of restaurant, this place looked bright and cheerful, with all the tables occupied and the customers looked happy. the friendly staff gave us a recently released table for two. the menu was huge and laborious. illustrated) and we were spoiled for the choice. we ordered three dishes to share and all were great. lamb with chilis, dan dan noodles with ground pork and fried soft peeled crawl. all were on the spicy side what we wanted.

terrible service, very rude staff and eating, although well tasted tasty. the waitress came and stood simply at the table and without talking and looking for an order. the bill was discarded before we were finished and the manager began to close the...blinds, the doors next to us with big chains etc., and it was only 9:50 in the evening. they took us with limited time until they were closed and they never informed us that it was closed at 10:00. we were informed at 10, we had 5 minutes to finish and go. place where I was.

we made a reservation at barshu because it had a big recording in a super market magazine I had thought it was waitrose? not know where to really start. this restaurant has set itself on expectations. eating is amazing. we had sea bass with licky sauce...(never had such something and it was amazing) dry wok garnel, sweet and acidic pork, traditional dumplings, farm house fried rice and the legendary dan noodles. the presentation of eating is fabulous. it's not cheap, but it was worth every penny. we can't wait until we get back.
