the vegan pizza tastes really good, but the vegan selection is unfortunately also quite small.

Beautiful servants, good margarita, beautiful place to sit outside, and it is rarely too full. Nothing to complain!

Good food, good price. The hotel is located in the university and quite close to bus / bus stops. Here you get traditional German foods.

had a vegan pizza for the escape. compared to other vegan pizzas in mainz it was really expensive and the vegan cheese really tasted strange.

they have really good vegan pizza and sometimes other vegan dishes on the weekly menu. compared to other places on campus, however, they are quite expensive. I just go to pizza. a (vegan) friend of mine told me that they served her an salat with yogurt dressing and a suppe with meat pieces in the inner. be careful and make it very clear that they are vegan. I went there because they had a vegan option for me. Was hungry was late. And all the vegan places near my hotel was closed. The pizza I ate was good. I thought the pepper meant bell pepper. I was surprised but turned out happy it was spicy peppers. Was good, although i wish there was more things on my pizza. I also wish there was more options for vegetarians and Vegans.

we were there with a large group with few children. they accepted orders for the children, but eating for my child came with great delay and far after the other children and my own teller. I sent back the child order because it was too late and the child had already eaten by my teller. they have not only forced me to pay for the child's order, even if we haven't seen them, but they have calculated them as the most expensive items in the menu. they exploited the fact that I could not stop and argue in a big group with children.

Baron is located on the campus of the university and thus a bit far away if you are in the city of Mainz. For those who are on campus anyway it is a very good option though: They are the only place in Mainz which makes pizzas with vegan chesse; those are very tasty and quite cheap (depending on how many toppings you want about 6-7 EUR). Also about once or twice a week their lunch is vegan. It is way more expensive than the other places on campus (about 8 EUR compared to about 4EUR in the mensa) but also way better. You always get a fresh salad and a large plate with freshly prepared food. In the city this would be considered a bargain. You should check their website for their weekly menu! Voir le carte
